I want to replace rear case to iPhone 7 , A1778 and I ask iFixit has original part which has Apple logo. I have to replace lcd+touch so I should replace rear case too. This replacement of rear case is too hard? Suggestions?
Apple doesn’t sell replacements to third parties, therefore unless you buy a second hand original case, what you may find in the market will be a non original chinese replica despite the Apple logo. The housing replacement is not particularly difficult but presents some critical steps as many flat cables are firmly glued to the case and the risk of tearing up something in the process is there. Particular care is needed with the dock, as it’s a bigger flat cable and has quite a bit of conductive glue that has to be preserved and transferred to the new housing, otherwise some problems might arise with cellular communications.
