The back on my iPhone 8 was cracked so I replaced the housing. I’m trying to put the rear camera into the bracket but it won’t go in. It seems like it’s a bit too narrow on one of the corners. I’m trying to bend the frame of the bracket but I don’t want to stress it too much with the fear of breaking another back housing! Any suggestions? Edit I’ve added a picture that shows the original bracket from the broken back housing compared to the bracket in the new aftermarket housing. There is a discernible difference in the shape of the bottom corner that is stopping the camera from sitting in it.

Is this an original housing replacement housing (for example, pulled from a defective device) or is this an aftermarket one? Some aftermarket housings have poor tolerances which can cause this kind of issue. Don’t torque the rear-housing too much because you will crack the glass and then have no recourse with the supplier. Inspect the opening and compare it to your original housing. If you have a digital caliper, take some measurements to see if there is truly a difference or not.
