I have a customers iPod touch 5th. The rear camera is black. Shutter is probably not opening. It’s also says the the flash is disabled until the device cools down but the device is not hot. I tried the basics of a hard reset and resetting the settings nether worked. Any ideas? Should I try to replace the camera or is that a waste of time?
Hi, replace the rear camera, should resolve the issue for you, as the shutter may be failing, and replacing it should fix it. :-)
