Chosen Solution
So I’ve got an iPhone 6s where the rear camera and flashlight weren’t working. Just shows a black screen and doesn’t take photos. I tried the logical step of replacing the camera with a brand new one, but I’m still having the exact same issue… Any ideas?
It’s always possible that the replacement camera is also defective but I would start to suspect a logic board issue. What happened just prior to the camera not working? Was the phone dropped, damaged, repaired or came into contact with water? Knowing this would help with a diagnostic.
