Freezes when trying to take photo. Have tried ALL factory resets (multiple times). Front camera works Video mode works Diagnostics cycles camera fine. HELP !!!!
Hi Thomas, Could be a hardware issue, it could be covered by warranty if less than a year old or so, try contact Sony about it, they may repair or replace free of charge. If not, try replacing the back camera, it may solve your issue. :-)
Factory reset your phone to fix this issue: Ensure the device is powered off.Press and hold the Power button and the Volume Down button (located on the right edge of the device) until the Sony screen appears then release.From the System Recovery screen, select Factory Reset. Select Yes. Hope this would fix your issue, if still issue exists then check Sony Xperia Z5 Manual. for more ideas.
