Chosen Solution
This device won’t take a charge, I’ve put a different battery in it, and charged the other battery in a different unit and the battery is just fine. I’ve tried different chargers, both of the two different styles that I’m aware of, but still no success.
@cando_it so if the battery works and holds a charge and if the power supply works properly then you need to check the power supply connector. Measure the contacts in the back of the connector with the charger plugged in. It is either the port or the charging circuitry on the board. Schematics are pretty much non-existent so you will have to do a bit of investigating.
