Hi Everyone, I replaced my wife’s shatters screen a week ago and she has been having issues with it. When she tries to wake the phone using the power or home button it just stays black but the backlight comes on and thus happens at random. The phone wasn’t dropped in water. The replacement screen isn’t cheap one I paid $60 for it, can someone please help me out. Thank you.
Try reseating the screen cables and push the LCD (display) one a bit harder than usual to make sure it is plugged in properly. Unplug battery first before unplugging or plugging any cables inside.
