Chosen Solution

My Yamaha keyboard had a loud key. So I dismantled the the keyboard to wipe of any dust stuck inside the key contacts. After cleaning the particular keys. I found that 4 keys were not working from the last octave. So again I wiped the particular dead keys. After that manys keys were not working all over the keyboard. These unplayable keys are running every where in the keyboard. Some times dead keys comes to live and some other keys become dead. I highly appreciate if someone could provide a solution or provide Yamaha DGX 630 service manual. Thank in advance.

Hi @janku97 , Here’s the service manual. Be patient when you download it as it takes a little while to go from processing to Download once you have passed the recaptcha test and clicked on Go to Download, below the document preview box. A lot of the time with Yamaha keyboards it is a loose connector on the cable (either end) between the DM processor board and the boards that connect to the keys. If it affects everywhere on the keyboard and not just the one end or the other end, check the connector on the middle board of the keyboards as usually the DM board feeds to this board which then multiples to the other two boards, left and right.
