Hi everyone, I recently got a lot of troubles with my MBP, some random crashes especially when looking videos or opening a lot of programs. But it also happens after the computer exits sleep mode. Now, when I launch it, I need to press the power button until the loading bar appears. If not, the computer shut down after the “bong”. I ran a Etrecheck analysis and I always have the “battery failure” (Error 79) corresponding to the crashes. Why ? It also happens when battery is unplugged. Here is the Etrecheck report : Report

You may have a virus. I would recommend you make a fresh backup (don’t over-write any older backups) using TimeMachine. Download if you don’t currently have it the OS installer app. and follow this guide: How to create a bootable macOS Sierra installer drive. Once you have a working installer USB thumb drive, boot under it and do a full security erase so both partitions are deleted and scrubbed one pass will do. Then install a fresh copy of your OS (use a new user name here). Once you get the OS installed get a good antivirus app to check your backup. Then use Migration assistant to recover your stuff.
