No you cannot upgrade the RAM. It is soldered onboard.
Hi @Divino Gracia Serrano, If you haven’t already done so, improve the laptop’s performance by replacing the HDD with a SSD. Not only will it speed things up, it is quieter too. All you’ll hear is the fan after it is installed ;-) Here’s a link just to show what is compatible and how much they might cost. There are other suppliers that may suit you better. Usually SSDs are supplied with instructions on how to transfer the data from the HDD to the SSD for a seamless upgrade. Here’s a video that shows how to install a SSD in your model laptop, which may be of some help. Also, check in Task Manager > StartUp to see what programs are being loaded when the laptop is first turned on and if they are necessary to be loaded at startup at all. If not required all that often or if not at all, they’re tying up system resources (memory) unnecessarily which could be better used for other things. If you’re not sure what the program is for or if it is necessary, some are so be careful, search online using the program name and check what it does. To disable the program from loading at startup, right click on the program and click on disable. It won’t be loaded the next time the laptop is started. If you make a mistake and find you do need it to be loaded at startup, simply right click on it again and select enable To get to Task Manager, right click on the Taskbar and click on the Task Manager link.
