Chosen Solution
I have added a further 4mb ram to my Dell Inspiron N5110 laptop and have upgraded the bios to the latest version (from A09 to A11) but the bios and 64 bit win 7 is still only picking up the 4mb ram in slot 1. I have even swapped the memory round and it still only detects slot 1. Anyone have any ideas who to solve this issue ?
Hello, I checked the laptop model and the laptop can only read a total capacity of 6 gb ram. So try a 2 gb sodimm in the slot and try again. Kind regards, kevin
