Hello, all, Just did a memory upgrade on my iMac… had a two-fold question (sorry if it’s a bit basic): First of all, should I leave the stock RAM (2x 8GB) in? Or should I run off of the 2x 16GB (OWC 2400MHZ DDR4 SO-DIMM)? Or all the memory in at once? Also, does the slot order of RAM install matter? Thanks for the help!

- Make sure the ram you are going to put in is the same as the ram currently installed or is on the list of supported ram, if it is I would just install both of the new sticks. If your iMac has 4 slots you should put all of the ram in.
- As far as I am aware the order should not matter.
