Hello. I was wondering whether any RAM that has these specs will fit the new 27’’ 5K iMac? DDR4-2400MHzSO-DIMM260pin Or is there anything else I need to pay attention to (like, whether it’s single- or double-ranked, etc)? In particular, I’d like to know if this RAM upgrade kit works for the new iMac: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B019FRC… Thank you and kind regards,

Well, I’ve heard from Crucial now that they fit the specs, but they won’t give a 100% guarantee that they work, because they’re double-ranked, and Crucial’s Mac-dedicated RAM is single-ranked. But seeing as OWC sells double-ranked RAM for these new iMacs, I think I’m on the safe side to buy these. UPDATE: After having bought and installed the RAM linked above - it works beautifully in the new iMac 5k 27’’ (2017) machines.

OWC has confirmed with their testing ram is a easy upgrade to 64Gb on all 27inch models, to a max of 16gb per ram module
