I know that you can reset it on a Mac with command option P R but does it get reset when the battery is unplugged, OS reinstalled or updated?
Unplug battery & mag-safe, Press and hold power on button 10 seconds. Reconnect batter and mag-safe. It will reboot on it’s it own. Does not reset with updates as far as i know.
