I would pop the bottom cover off to see why the cover is bulged. The so called wires I suspect is the conductive fabric covering the EMI shielding gasket. There is no other source that should cause this. Take a fresh set of pic’s once you take the cover off for us to see whats happing here. You may need to reshape the cover to sit in the grove properly.
