Will a Nokia E72 replacement camera part work in the Nokia E71 motherboard? In other words, can one upgrade the Nokia E71’s 3.2 MP camera to 5.0 MP using a spare part made for an E72? Since the phones are very much alike (same size, same battery, etc.) I should think a simple swap should be possible, as long as the physical size and connector of the replacement part matches the original. Thanks for your help.
Simply put, no. Not in hardware nor in firmware is it compatible.
