ASUS X555LA-XO636H i7-5500U Windows 10 64bit(was 8.1) Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 WiFi adaptor Wireless is dropping out every few minutes. Have to restart to get wireless to reconnect. WiFi adapter driver is V3.0.2.201 27/2/2016. ASUS Support driver page lists driver version as V10.0.0.324 25/8/2015 I am confused as the V10 driver is older than the V3 one that is installed? Also can’t download the drive as I keep getting page can’t be displayed errors.
Hi, Here is a link to the Atheros Win 10 driver for your model WiFi card. It is V10.0.0.341, dated 20/05/2016. https://www.atheros-drivers.com/download… Here is a link to the latest Asus drivers for Win 10. Scroll down to view the option for the V10 line of Qualcomm drivers. As these are Asus drivers they might be better than the Atheros as they may have been altered to suit Asus equipment http://ivanrf.com/en/latest-asus-drivers… Hopefully you will be able to download as I’m not sure whether you can’t download at all or are just having problems with the Asus website.
