I bought the tv today. I opened the tv then I updated the firmware. When I open the tv, I see “Samsung QLED TV” logo then it turns black (not closed) and I can’t do anything.The black screen stays still. I cant hear any sound. I can turn off and on my tv with the remote. Everytime I see “Samsung QLED TV” logo then it turns black. How can I fix this?
Hi @alperka , Did you update it online via the TV’s update now or auto update menu option or manually update it via a USB firmware file reload? If manually via USB did you make sure that you had the correct firmware?(I think - check your location to verify) If via the online update method, contact Samsung support about the problem as it is still covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. If manually via the USB option, then I’m not sure if this is covered by the warranty as it could be construed as user error and denied under warranty. You can always ask. The eeprom will have to be changed (or re-programmed) on the mainboard if the incorrect or corrupted firmware has been loaded
