Hi I purchased a Mac Book Pro Battery replacement kit in 11/2017, I have not had a chance to use it to replace my old battery in my Mac Book Pro. My question is its been about 19 months since the replacement battery was delivered to me it was stored in its original box in a temperature controlled room. Should the battery still be in good functional condition? I don’t want to go through the work of installing the new battery if its no longer functional. Is there a way to test the replacement battery before installing it in the Macbook Pro? Thank you for your help.
I keep a variety of Mac batteries in stock. I have had very little problem with degradation. I expect one of these batteries to be at about 95% of its listed maximum after calibration.
