My ps4 turns on, but wont display video and has flashing blue light. Ive done everything the ps4 support has suggested from changing HDMI cords to different tvs and no results. If i sit and play with it, by turning it on and off about a dozen times, the video will come on, but only for about 30 and shut off in the middle of game play. Any suggestions?
Unfortunately I don’t have good news for you. The flashing blue light means that there is a problem with one of the chips on the motherboard. Sometimes it’s the APU, sometimes it’s one of the RAM chips and sometimes it something else. It’s likely that one of those chips has one or more bad solder joints or pads.
