Hi When i turn on , off , eject disc , or pressing the eject button ( when there is no disc ) i’m no longer hear the beeping sound or sometimes i hear a very soft beep when i talked to PlayStation Support the told me ( it not affect the performance ) when i hit it from above ( light hit ) i can hear beeping for 1 or 2 hours then the sound disappear again . So is there any fix ?
Sounds like the buzzer/speaker may be faulty. They can be replaced…there’s just two pins soldered through the board.
Is it mandatory to change them if it does a soft beep?
The beep is a very important part of the PS4. its the only thing telling you whats wrong with your PlayStation. You wouldn’t be able to know any errors. If your console turns on. no beep but its trying to tell you something. your PS4 might be in trouble. I’d suggest replacing it but i cant find anywhere that sells them or even knows where the beep comes from.
