hello guys, this is actually my first topic here on iFixit. my ps4 has this issue since last week, it just turns on, shows the blue light and stuck there without showing anything on the TV, the fan works too i’ll post a video of it soon. i’d really appreciate it! i even took it to a repair shop, they even replaced both CPU and the Hard, none worked :/
Buy another PS4. Sure a reflow or reball of the graphics chip may fix it but getting it done is most likely at least half or more than half of the price of another PS4 and it could die again sooner or later. It’s not worth spending money on repairing that console because the issue is caused by the GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) overheating.
