The fan in my launch model ps4 died so I replaced it and put it back together and now it thinks it’s overheating even in the menu immediately after turning it on. I can’t open any games without it speeding up the process of overheating. I was just in it 15 mins ago so I know for a fact that the insides are dust free and I just reapplied thermal paste. This isnt the first time that I have replaced the fan. This current fan works. Just before this it would turn on display the you turned it off wrong error so I looked around and I fixed it into this state by taking the power supply out for a few min and then putting it back in. The exhausted air is not hot. I have had it since around launch and heavily used it. A warranty is far out of the question. What are my options?

I would say the heat sink isn’t properly attached, so the chips are hot but the exhaust air is cold.
