I have a usb type A to micro b usb cable and it doesn’t fit in the port on a ps4 slim. It looks too big. The console works fine its used the controllers work, does the slim model use a different cable or could it be the ports?
Hi Assuming that you are definitely using the right cable it should work Some cables a built with a tolerance For example if it’s half a millimetre too big it’s ok or if it’s half a millimetre too small it’s ok But that’s just a example and not actual information to go off of ,just a example It might seem like it’s not fitting but if you get it in at the perfect spot it should fit ,but if it’s clearly not fitting don’t try it as it may cause damage If you are having absolutely no luck follow this amazing guide to add some photos of it so we can see what’s going on a bit better:-) Adding images to an existing question Hopefully this helps Any questions please ask Thanks:-)
