If the rear USB port on the pro has bent pins but when it is started the too many USB devices are connected message appears, will a replacement right angle USB 3 port fix the issue and allow use? Is there a way to stop the message or is it permanent even without the bent pins? And if the repair on the port is possible, how difficult would it be?
For the mean time you can bend the pins in a way that they are not touching each other of the USB housing as that causes a short circuit and that message pops up which is the same as saying power surge on USB ports. When doing this make sure console is unplugged. After bending pins (unshorting them) I recommend hotgluing the port so that they don’t touch each other again.
