Chosen Solution I am currently sorting all of iPhone screws, and I found two that were the same length, but one seemed thicker. Are these 2 diffeeent screws? If one is thicker, then its not the same :) I use a magnetic pad to hold my screws in place to keep track of where each goes. But from time to time, we all lose track of one or more… The main thing to look out for is the FPC connectors for the LCD....
Chosen Solution I have a TASCAM DR-05 audio recorder that has a monochrome orange LCD whose display has partially been damaged. Only the bottom half can be read while the top half is blank. I would like to attempt to change out the LCD by finding a replacement. I need help in finding a source for a replacement LCD. I have searched this website, and I know that it is a problem with the hard drive and I need to either a.) restore my ipod, and or b) replace the hard drive, but I don’t know what to do! My computer will not recognize the ipod. I understand that you can replace the hard drive, and I can’t really send it in since it is water damage....

George: it looks as the 2013 and 2014 Retina displays are interchangeable but not with the 2015. Could be the cabling for the airport and iSight cables but they are different part numbers. Although they look nearly identical the 2014 display does not work on the 2015....

Chosen Solution I am wondering if I can purchase a replacement case/housing for the OP-1, the previous owner removed the connector board panel on the back with a screw driver and scratched it all up and I would like to replace it so that it is in “new” condition again. I did not see that part listed as an option. The iFixit European store seems to be familiar with this product and sells parts for it....

I have found one thread where some guy did it and he had some serious performance issues (after upgrade computer worked slower than before). I wonder if it was the fault of broken CPU or iMac 27 Mid 2010 doesn’t work properly with i7 860. Hi, If the work was carried out recently to repair the reversing lights by a garage, there should be some sort of guarantee on their workmanship, provided by them, even if it is only for 30 days etc. Take the car back to them and explain the problem and show them as well (hopefully the problem will happen when you do this) and ask them to check it out, as it is causing problems for you....

Chosen Solution I have this issue where if I apply pressure on bottom of my Mac while picking it up the screen will glitch and my computer will turn off or restart. The area that you press to make this occur is where the battery and Ram sit, I popped off the back plate to see if any cables were pinched but they all looked in order one thing I did notice is the screws from the battery are missing....
Chosen Solution Before I forget: I’ve actually got the HP Probook 450 G5, but couldn’t select that one so I figured this one was the closest to it. Hi! Since a week or two my screen has started flickering occasionally, dependent on the angle it’s in. Once it does I just have to tilt it a little back or forth to find a non-flickering position. Not a pro whatsoever, but this has lead me to believe the issue may be my display cable a) not connecting fully on either side or b) being worn out/damaged....
Chosen Solution About 3/4 of my screen is going dark, I can still see the picture behind it but it has a dark shadow. I have a Sanyo fvd4064 40” Sounds like the backlight is going out. I doubt there are many answers to give you that would be a cost effective repair as LCD’s have gotten really cheap, especially around the 40” range. I would probably go buy a decent TCL Roku TV....

Chosen Solution Recently i made the mistake of thinking backglass replacement would be easy and decided to try it myself my tool pushed between the coil and metal frame causing smoke and small sparks causing the iPhone to only turn on when plugged in then later not turning on at all and sticking in a boot loop it’s still recognizable in recovery mode and it says it charges when plugged in obviously not tho I suspect it’s the battery as it kinda smells but I don’t know I’m hoping it’s not the logic board it happened on the right side of the iPhone when facing down...

I made a clone with carbon copy cloner from the original HDD to the new SSD (ca. 130Gb). The SSD boots perfectly when connected over USB, but is not found when connected internally. Chosen Solution I have a Lawn Boy mower with a 6.5 HP Tecumseh engine. It requires many pulls on the starter rope to start it when the engine is hot. When cold it starts the first pull.
