Chosen Solution After I got the battery the first time, I followed the website’s instructions exactly to put it into my iPhone 5. It worked for awhile ( it’s fine to charge the battery a few times) until the phone battery ran out completely, and I can not charge it. However, the screen does not light up again. So I then get the same battery from a different eBay seller, but it has the same problem that every time the phone runs out of battery completely, you can never charge it up again....

Chosen Solution I recently taught my self to fix my old Iphone 5 screen to sell it for more money. After replacing the old screen with a new one, I noticed everything turned on and responded well until I went to put my pin in to unlock my phone. All numbers work besides the top row(1,2,3). Try to remove and reconnect the lcd and digitizer cable sometimes is not properly connected....

Chosen Solution Replaced the screen with the digitizer. Initially everything worked, but now the screen will not light up. Back light still works. Tried cleaning top cable connection, tried soft and hard reset but to no avail. Granted, a custom rom and Backup are installed. Any suggestions? Is the screen fried? But if so, why would back light still work? Try the bottom flex cable connection in the middle from the screen....

Chosen Solution hi this camera has been faultless upto yesterday. The camera turns on and I can see all pictures that I have taken. But when I turn it to take a picture mode I get up all the normal icons a light grey screen but no image. If I take a picture I get a grey screen shot.thought it was the lcd screen but, surely I would not be able to view previously taken pictures on a faulty screen....

Chosen Solution I have used ifixit battery replacement before with great results. My SE disassembly went well. Upon installing the new battery I noticed a very small wire that may have come loose when the ribbon battery cable and adhesive strips were being taken out. Its to the left of the battery along side battery ribbon cable. I’m concerned it might be a speaker wire or? Can you give an idea what is and if its a speaker wire?...

Chosen Solution I have an iphone 5c that I had a new icracked sreen put on and a new battery installed at the same time. The phone will work till the battery is dead it shows it is charging but never takes a charge. Chosen Solution Laptop is insanely sluggish—essentially unusable. When I am able to finally check the activity monitor, the CPU usage exceeds 100%. Did a fresh install of the OS hoping it would fix things, but nothing. Fans run non-stop at maximum speed. Not quite sure how to fix or diagnose the issue. Now on the logic board there are no ribbons to solder on the new cable. Is it time to retire the logic board or is there a way I can revive it. You need to follow the traces and solder jumpers....

Chosen Solution Hi, I was replacing my optical drive with an SSD but when I was disconnecting the subwoofer connector from the logic board it broke :( One of the four pin of the connector came off so I can’t solder it on the motherboard again. No, even though many parts are compatible between the two, still many aren’t, and those changes are because of different logic boards between the two units. You’ll need to get a logic board that matches your model.

The two fastening mechanisms that allow the top case to be held tightly against the bottom case no longer work. One plastic tab is missing from the right hand side fastener. As a result the top case (screen) always flips open. The only solution is to turn the Mac over so that the heaver bottom case keeps the Mac closed....

Chosen Solution My PowerPC G5 dual quad core failed to boot, the diag leds indicated a failed cpu B. I replaced both cpus, same error. I then replaced the Logic board and STILL have the same error. WTF? Suggestions? Maybe it’s the RAM. If you have more than one module, see if it works with just one.

Chosen Solution Today water was accidentally splashed on my phone. The side buttons won’t work, but even worse, the picture of the bell that says “Ringer” that shows the volume indicator won’t disappear. It stays on top of everything, and because it is opaque, this makes it hard to see stuff. Is the hardware irreversibly damaged, or once it dries out will the phone (hopefully) go back to normal? Hi, It would be a good idea to open the phone up and clean any visible corrosion, there is possibly corrosion on the connectors that connect the power/volume flex....
