Chosen Solution Where can I get a new connector wire for two singing penguins? They are supposed to be connected to each other with a thin wire and then respond to each other when the button is pushed. I no longer have the wire. Chosen Solution I had to replace my complete screen ( touch digitizer and LCD screen).I. put it back together and it came on but noticed screen was not as bright even though brightness controlled all the way up.If I put it on auto bright you can barely seen the screen. Chosen Solution After completing a digitiser replacement, when laying down the glass, it does not sit flush with the frame of the device. It rises up slightly where the cables are, and no matter what I try, I cannot get it to sit flush. A picture of where the cables are sat now is attached. It’s hard to tell from your picture but it appears that the flex on the digitizer hasn’t been adhered properly....

Chosen Solution my phone display screen suddenly becomes blank.when i switch off and on,im not getting the display.it just hangs on if you get a blank screen on a slider phone it is probably cause due to a broken flex ribbon cable connecting the lcd portion to the base of your phone.

Chosen Solution When i try to replace right subwoofer macbook pro, accidentally stripped the screw head in the bluetooth bracket orange color circle as per picture. Quite hard to do anything because the hole is quite small for any equipment. Did try using rubber band but still unable to unscrew it. Need help… When I get troubles with pesky screws first thing I try is to gently hammer the screwdriver on the screw head to improve grip if the stripping is not that bad....

Chosen Solution To put it simply, when I plug my iPod shuffle in to charge, no matter whether it’s a fast or slow charge USB wall adapter or a computer, it appears to charge properly. The orange light turns on, and after a couple hours the green light turns on, just as expected. However, trying to leave it charging for the requisite 4 hours to get them to 100%, they turn orange again....

Chosen Solution bought a new camera sony dsch300, whe going through the set up guide I get to the last page prompting ne to visit the sony web site. when I press okay the camera turns its self off It may have shut off after finishing the setup. You didn’t say if you could turn it back on and use it. Make sure your batteries are good and if using NiMH rechargables (usually the best) that they are all good and charged....

Chosen Solution When you plug your earphones in only onse side is working. Checked earphones they are ok. If connected to Ipod speaker dock works ok. Can this be fixed and what would it cost. Hansel, there is a previous answer of mine that you might want to explore. I bet one of the pins inside your jack is bend and not making proper contact. You may get it re-adjusted by opening your ipod and taking a look at the jack itself but I do not think that you can get to the contacts....

Chosen Solution Hi all, Have upgraded the RAM and SSD on my iMac thanks to iFixit! All I’m missing now is ability use it as a second screen to my tiny PC laptop, following home working move. Having seen posts for years that without Target Display Mode it can’t be done (but also seen posts also referring to screen-recycler and also network sharing from a PC). So I want to move past TDM as clearly there are options and to find out what possibilities there are for a working iMac be best used as an extended screen to a PC....

The most important thing, if it is still wet, is to absolutely avoid turning it on. I would follow the iFixit guide for MacBook topcase replacement, and open it up to the point that you can get inside the main part of the laptop. I generally use q-tips dipped in rubbing alcohol for cleanup....

Chosen Solution MBP will start-up with battery removed and will shut-down normally and start-up normally If the charged battery is first installed, the MBP will start normally. Upon normal shutdown, the MBP will not start-up (no response). The magsafe cable shows a green light. The battery indicator shows charging and will come up to 99% charge. New battery did not solve the problem. Removed the battery and performed the >10 second reset....

Chosen Solution I have a strang issue, sometimes not often I can hear a pop from my new mbp. Yesterday it did happen two times in a raw, first pop then 30 sec later pop again. Chosen Solution I recently purchased a broken Surface Book Performance Base model on eBay. The top of the tablet/clipboard portion of the device near the power button was at one point bent. I have since straightened it out. It was bent enough that it actually cracked the display (I’ve since replaced that as well.) Fortunately, the tape I used to put the new screen on isn’t strong enough and I just realized that the rear camera wasn’t working....

Chosen Solution Ok, so basically, I’m stupid and I threw my phone at my desk and it made a clap sound and the screen starting going into like a gameboy type look. Then it just went black, 3d touch and eveyrhting still works I just can’t see anything. Please help. You need a new display assembly. I’m not sure how much Apple is currently charging for that. Chosen Solution when i replaced the screen i tested it to make sure it worked before closing it it turned on but when i go to close it the screen goes black and shuts down then i have to disconnect the battery then reconnect then it turns on again i think its grounding itself but i cant find where Hey Scott, It sounds like you may have a faulty flex cable in your display assembly....
