Chosen Solution Recently I found out that some of the keys are not working,any solutions? Known not-working keys: Up/Down O 9 End PageUp PageDown , Update I am using an Inspiron 500m(I ask here because it looks the same with 600m but without the shortcut keys near the power switch,they also use the same keyboard). I also reinstalled Windows (Not using the restore CD) Judging from the descriptions of your symptoms, it is most likely not a software issue at all....

Chosen Solution Immediately after I turned power on to my Sony xbr-75x850e tv Heard a small pop. Sound came on normal but no picture. DTV box light on. TV light on. Does not feel hot. No burnt smell. Less than 1 year old @megh27 disconnect all inputs. disconnect the power cord. Hold the power button depressed for about a minute, then connect one video source. Try something like a game console or a DVD player (just in case the issue comes from your DVR box)....

Chosen Solution Just picked up a 2011 13" MBP, the thing needs some TLC and I was looking around classifieds and I found broken 2010 MBP’s with dead logic boards. Now the things I was hoping to take from the 2010 model were, battery and the casing. To my understanding the batteries are interchangeable. But what about the actual case/housing of the entire unit? From looking at the images online, both units appear to have the same amount of ports/connections on the left side....

Chosen Solution I change a screen to the iPhone 7 Plus, all the process did correctly. But when I turn on shows NO SERVICE. I reset the phone. Turn on and turn off. Tried his original oem screen. But still shows no service. Anyone have a solution for that? The first thing I would try is to re-install the original screen to see if the issue persists or not. If it does, then you may have damaged something during the repair procedure....

But, the first time i opened the Macbook, to see the inner, cleaning it up and to power-it up unplugging the battery. I torn the black paper behind the keyboard. Chosen Solution Hi there, it is very difficult to source a new display, mine is broken. Did anyone conduct an exchange of a Display of the MBA 13” Early 2015 successfully? If yes, which Display are compatible to exchange from older models/versions? As far as I have seen, only 2015 & 2017 are interchangeable. Chosen Solution I have spent the last two hours working on my dads phone replacing a faulty Lightning port, it displays a message saying that the phone doesn’t accept the device and I need to open it. after I open it however it doesn’t show the phone as charging ? is this because it needs to calibrate ? please help me its for my dads work phone. Chosen Solution I just replaced the joy stick and as far as I can tell, nothing was damaged. I’m wondering if I should just shell out for a new pair. Has anyone else run into this? Could there be damage that’s hard to see?

Chosen Solution I ordered a replacement battery from iFixIt, however, upon installing, I found the battery was not only more snug, but the cord comes out in such a spot where it becomes impossible to fit the ipod back in the case. Update (06/21/2021) With some extreme finessing of the wires and headphone board, along with a sketchy snip of the blue plastic wrap (the plastic wrap, not the cell) in the wire corner I was able to fit it in....

Chosen Solution Hello, my ear speaker stopped working after replacing the display. I guess I broke something oder cut a cable. Face ID and TrueTone works fine. I bought this piece and replaced it (https://i.ibb.co/CbHD41d/14-F19163-ABDC-…) but it looks like you cant just change these parts because Face ID stopped working. After research I found out that I should only change the earpiece without the cable. How can I do that? Read something about soldering....

Chosen Solution Someone brought in an iPhone 6 and they complained of the microphone not working. Upon inspection I noticed that the charger flex assembly was new. There was no rubber cover for the microphone. I have always removed the cover from the old part. I have looked unsuccessfully to find a replacement. Any ideas to where I may find one? Chosen Solution I have tried to hard reset my phone and also tried dfu restore it didn’t work. Please take the time to give some background/context when asking these types of questions. If you go to the doctor and simply say you have a stomach ache, they’re not going to be able to offer much. It could be indigestion or cancer… As for your phone, what happened leading up to this situation…was the phone dropped, damaged, repaired or came into contact with water?...

Chosen Solution I have a satellite that’s just over two years old, noticed last summer I was having some issues with Explorer pages flickering and turning white, usually when I have more than one window open or am watching a video. It stopped and didn’t come back until last week. Over the last few days it has happened quite a few times, I’ll have 2 or 3 windows open and one or two will just turn white or start flickering and the other will remain normal....

Chosen Solution The screen turns whiter the more you move it around and when you turn it off and on it restart until It becomes almost completely white Looks like it’s an issue with the display and it will need replacement I see this happen quite often with these phones. If it was repaired before I would see if whoever repaired it offered any kind of warranty with it. If it wasn’t repaired, you can order a kit here on ifixit....

Chosen Solution It goes intonsleep mode and when I try and wake it up the tablet wakes up but the screen does not. But if I push the power button over and over It will start working again but repeats every sleep mode I fixed it. It was the power button. Somewhere in that assembly was botched so swapped it out and poof. Screen works This may be a Hardware issue either with the flex cable of your display or the display connector with the motherboard....

Chosen Solution My gamegear is having issues and I’m not sure what needs to be replaced so I was hoping someone here might be able to point me in the right direction. When I turn the system on the red “ON” indicator light lights up for about 2-3 seconds and then goes out. The screen doesn’t illuminate at all during the brief 2-3 second period either. My guess is the screen or logic board need to be replaced but I’m not sure....

Chosen Solution I think this is the best place to ask something like this, but my monitor that I purchased has an issue at the bottom of the screen. Chosen Solution i tried to update my iphone to 7.1.2 version.i end up in a mess.It shows the itunes symbol with a captio Connect to itunes.Can someone help me fixing it The problem your running in to is that, the regular iPhone 4, are not capable of accepting any updates past 7.1. so 7.1.2 is to new for that iPhone. what you can try now is downloading any software before 7....
