Chosen Solution I have a base model 1.7GHz Core i5 13" MacBook Air and about 4 years ago it suffered some liquid damage. Finally this month when I got the tools I opened it up, cleaning every component of the logic board and the I/O board with 91% isopropyl alcohol. When I checked out the I/O board, I realized there was more corrosion on there than the logic board. In fact, I don’t think I found any corrosion on the Logic board....

To get ready for the most recent gig I ran updates. In my experience with apple keeping the base OS the same and running updates takes care of issues without killing performance, at least until now. I ran the updates and the USB ports no longer work....

Chosen Solution Some of the keys on my wireless apple keyboard are not working. I have tested it on a different computer and the problem persists so its not a software problem. The keys not working are space bar, backspace, caps lock, up arrow and tab Sounds like you’ve worn out your keys. If you had a group of keys along a common group like Caps Lock, A, S, D & F then I could have seen one of the traces to the interface chip had failed....
Chosen Solution Tv has full power, shows Hitachi logo on power up, has sound and picture for a few minutes. Then screen goes black, sound remains, when a flashlight is used images can be faintly seen on the screen. Can you believe, I turned the brightness down and so far…. No issue at all!!! Chosen Solution Ok so my PS4 Slim is still pretty new and it just stopped working. If I try to power it on, the light blinks blue and I can’t even power it off. I hold the power button but nothing happens(Even after 7 seconds). The only way to turn it off is to unplug the cable but that doesn’t fix it. Please help? Chosen Solution I currently have 4GB DDR3L ram(1.35v & 1600MHz) with core i5 haswell processor. I have a extra 2GB ram DDR3 (1.5v & 1333Mhz) in another laptop. Can i add 2GB ram to the 4GB DDR3L laptop ?? will voltage difference make a bios error ??? You would be creating other problems by using them. Basically your system would run hotter and will likely encounter crashes as the RAS & CAS speeds are not quite the same causing read/write errors....
Chosen Solution Hey everyone, Super interesting issue. Previously it would reboot just fine when connected to the dock but now it just stays on the windows/surface logo screen. It reboots perfectly fine when disconnected from the dock. Any idea what it could be? Troubleshooting already done: Uninstalled the surface dock firmware (did not delete the driver) and plugged back in. Tried to manually update the firmware on the surface dock and I don’t see a version number change....

The touch ID sensor is uniquely paired with the CPU. If you do not have the original sensor, it will not work and you are running risk of bricking your phone with an error 53....

I’ve been told that it’s likely due to both the main and BIOS batteries being dead, causing the BIOS to freak out. A replacement main battery is on the way, but I’m uncertain of what exactly I need to replace the BIOS battery....
Chosen Solution the point where the right speaker connects to the main headset is broken so no audio comes from it anymore, should I try to replace this headset with a more inexpensive and competent headset (cause cash is tight for me) or should I make an attempt to repair it, like I said only the right speaker is broken and before this happened I would usually play with only the left speaker directly on my ear so it’s mostly a nuisance....
