Chosen Solution The whole screen assembly is detaching from the rest of the aluminum body, starting from the top. Is there a guide on how to reattach it? What adhesive should be used? You can use any guide for the device to take off the screen then use any adhesive wether double-sided tape to permanent, it depends if you want repeatability or it to stay on. Also if there is any water or dust resistance, don’t rely on it after replacing the adhesive....

Chosen Solution Along the base of the screen, near the hinge, the bezel is starting to come loose from the screen. I’m trying to find if there’s any adhesive I can use to stick the bezel/frame back on or if I need to wait until the lockdown ends and I can take it to a professional. Chosen Solution So, I bought a broken iPhone X on eBay the dealer said he dropped the phone by accident and the phone just shattered in pieces, the glass was cracked and the screen was cracked and the pixels we’re dead so I couldn’t see anything on the screen. After I realised what I was up against I bought an OLED screen for the phone and moved all the parts to the new screen....

Chosen Solution I dropped my iphone 3G and all I got was the white screen.. I replaced my broken touch screen following the ifixit steps. But I still get just the white screen. Can someone tell me what im forgetting to do or what else could cause the white screen please. Thank you you need to replace the LCD as well - the front panel glass contains the digitizer for processing touches, but has nothing to do with the LCD itself (except for holding it in the device)...

Chosen Solution I recently dropped my LG G3 into some water. It worked fine with no incident for about 2 weeks, until I started getting black flickering lines across the screen. This was also joined with the screen fading to darkness and then the screen turning off altogether. This has worsened now and it is rare to get the screen working for more than 30 secs a day. As it responds to my touch still, I assume it is the lcd screen that is broken and not the digitiser (although I’ll replace both if I repair it)....
Chosen Solution I have a custom desktop system running 10.5.6… ( from retail OSX install i purchased a long time ago when it was built)…… upgrading a few things over the years, this is my home theater system and thats all it does and i like it. So it will stay as is. I will may update to 10.5.8 retail soon as long as my optical digital out for sound would continue to work…....

Let me explain, whenever I play a song with ANY bass to speak of I get this terrible noise like you would hear if you put a vacuum hose up to a ribbon while holding it. After replacing the battery for my surface book and putting everything back together, I was greeted by a screen consisting of inverted colours and thin vertical lines. I can see things changing on the screen as different programs load etc. and I’ve tested with a different monitor to ensure it wasn’t a video issue....
Chosen Solution Ok, so I replaced the screen on an ipad. (PROBABLY the 500 I have done) Here is the issue. When I unplug the battery and and plug it back in the ipad will power on and show the apple logo. As soon as the apple logo goes away the ipad screen goes black. and if I press the power button it will not wake up, but if I hold the power button the screen will come on with the slide to power off sign....
Chosen Solution tablet not charging how do I know if its the charging port or the battery @dmad1014 check your charge cable and how it it fits into the charging port. If your cable is good and your tablet shows charging if you wiggle the cable gently, you know its your port. If it does not it is most likely your battery. This only works if the port does not have any cracked solder connections etc....
Chosen Solution First my battery didn’t charge. I fixed that by taking the battery out then putting it back in. Then after I tried startup Youtube but it said please check your connection. I went into my settings and saw the time was four hours off and the date was a few months off.Then I tried Google and it said no connection. My Wi-Fi had been turned on after I put in the battery....
Chosen Solution my phone doesn’t work even you connect it to the charger doesn’t show any thing on the screen. the battery is good and screen is good but i don’t know what’s is the problem . As @oldturkey03 says, the first things to try are a known-good battery and charge port. Replacement parts, especially small parts, are notoriously hit and miss. If you say a repair shop already tried these things (at least a battery and screen), then you may have a defective charge circuit....
