Chosen Solution My ipod 6 turns itself off and takes days to turn on. Battery wont charge much. Screen is cracked, can these related? The battery is most likely still under warranty, but Apple will want you to pay for a screen replacement before honoring it. Most definitely can be related. I would say it’s likely battery is damaged as well just like poster above was. saying. However, it’s possible you can get it repaired by an unauthorized repair person for less than paying apple so I’d take it to someone who deals with it first to get an estimate to see what your best bet is....

Chosen Solution this is the small metallic part which is broken, so iphone cannot be plugged anymore, it ’s not connected. can it be fixed or not ? ( I live in singapore) thanks Yes the metallic part on the phone itself can be replaced. You have to remove the charging cable, speaker and vibrator. Then you can pop it out with a spurge. There should be replacements online. If not, buy a broken iPhone 6 housing and just get the part from it....

Chosen Solution I got a Vizio M55-C2 and it has a crack screen. I was wondering is it possible to fix the screen or get it repaired? @mizterkewl if the LCD panel is broken, then there is no way to fix it. It will have to be replaced. Here comes the bad part. Chosen Solution I have an aquabot pool cleaner and pump motor stopped working. If you disassemble it the oil inside runs out. I really only need to know what type of oil to use to replace it. The 35V motor has 4 capacitors to jump start it. I have replaced the capacitors once before in my own machine without loosing the oil and reusing it. Successful long term repair accomplished. This one is a relatives of mine who lost the oil and I don’t want to replace capacitors, only to ruin successful job by putting the wrong oil in it....

Chosen Solution I don’t recommend using the cheater method which is to prop up the display enough to gain access to things. The problem is as a first timer you don’t have a lot of room and if you slip… Opps! Best to take the display off and out of the way as the IFIXIT guide walks you though. You do need to use care not to force things! Take your time and follow the steps as outlined in the guide....

Chosen Solution I just need to replace the HD on my model A1502. I need tools to remove the torx screws and I need to buy a new hard drive. There are a lot of choices…which one do I use? If you check you will most likely find a SSD stick instead of a hard drive. Please give us the last four figures of your serial number so we know your exact machine as there are 9 different A1502 models....

(I hope so, seeing as the only way to be sure is to open the Mac and see. Let me know if this is necessary....

Chosen Solution Hey guys… Some days ago, I bought one CV1 it from a friend. But unfortunately in the transport the ribbon cable in headband it broke. I tried repair this ribbon cable but I don’t had success. I tried talk with the Oculus Support…I asked if they send me another headband for make my rift 100% again but apparently, they do not want help me. I know how disassembly/assembly my rift, this is no worry for me…but they said basically “Sorry to hear that Rift was damaged”…short answer: buy another one....

Chosen Solution Screen door won’t close completely without my lifting the closing pieces into place. Can this be fixed? This is very common. Usually the door drops. First tighten the upper hinges and see if that pulls it up. If not you may have to put a shim on the lower hinge to push it out. When doing that I would start with an 1/8" shim and try it with the screws out and see if it is enough....

Chosen Solution So I recently followed the guide for replacing the speaker in an Iphone 6s. Not only did I think everything went smoothly but it almost seemed surgical. Used every proper tool, every screw and component was kept track of, and I didn’t force my way through anything. Although after booting there seemed to arise several strange problems. During the first boot after the installation, the phone was stuck on the apple logo which I was able to get out of by hard resetting....

Chosen Solution I’m borrowing a laptop from a friend who described the condition of the laptop as ‘battery doesn’t really hold a charge’ and ‘speakers are kind of broken’. I opened it up earlier today just to take a look and I noticed that a. the clips holding the bottom cover in didn’t seem to be clipped in place and b. the battery looked very slightly swollen. macOS shows a message in the battery menu saying service is recommended, but the support article says it’s still safe to use (no mention of a swollen battery there)....
