Hi, With a lot of radios the aux input socket has an internal contact which is operated when the aux cable plug is inserted. This sends a signal to change the input source. Most likely if the socket is loose the contact connection or the wiring connected to it, is touching something that it shouldn’t, simulating a cable being inserted....
Chosen Solution The problem. The machine displays the grey screen of death asking to be restarted. Boots right up and works normally without any hangups until the next shutdown episode. This happens somewhat randomly whether on battery or AC adapter. The changes that have been done to the original configuration hardware-wise are as follows: added Kingston RAM, upgraded HD to solid state Samsung EVO one. That’s about it. When I turned it back on again, it was stuck on the Apple logo. I then restored it—but in the middle of the restore, the phone stopped working. Chosen Solution i replaced my battery - everything went back fine except one of the external screws at the bottom falls out. the other is fine and phone works fine - is this a problem? Not really. The issue is either caused by the screw hole post from the screen being worn out or missing. These tend to break off after dropping the phone multiple times.

Chosen Solution 2 days ago I spilled accidentally a drink over my Surface Book keyboard (i5 with performance base) covering almost the left half of it. I tried my best to suck as much drink as I could. Unfortunately the drink had some coke or Pepsi on it, so that probably didn’t help. Right after this happened, the backlight stopped working, the USB were trying to connect and disconnect to a non existing device and the keyboard stopped working for a few minutes, then worked again, and so on....

As long as you mean the cable and power brick, then yes. I’ve use a first gen iPod charger to charge an iPhone 3GS with no problems. If the charger doesn’t work with your phone, the phone will tell you, which is what happens when you plug an iPhone into my iPod car dock....
