I bought a replacement digitizer/screen set but it does not appear to be working. Now, I accidentally pulled the flip up bracket off while trying to get the old digitizer out so my question is: does that little while plastic clip help complete a circuit of some sort or is it really just to hold the end of the cable down so I can troubleshoot if it’s the clip or the digitizer that’s the problem....

Chosen Solution Steering wheel started wobbling then ther was a nocking noise under bonnet everything is solid well maintained I think it’s the steering block shawnqueeley Its time to replace the steering fluid in the rack . I bought the ifixit kit including the tools, which included a suction cup to grip onto the screen, allowing opening the phone after removing the two pentalobe tools.
