Chosen Solution I’ve had an N95 for several years as a backup cell phone, and recently when I turned it on, the display wouldn’t come on. The backlight was on and the keypad was on, but the screen was just black. Anyone have any suggestions? Would replacing the screen fix the problem? check that with the sim you are able to call or talk to someone then you have to change the flex....

Chosen Solution This is not an earbud issue. I have never plugged mine in. One day I was using the Speaker option and noticed that the sound was scratchy. The next day the phone did not ring it only vibrated. I have a very quite ringtone plus vibrate for incoming calls. The ring sound comes out of the speakers as well as the voice so right now all I have is the vibrate option....
Chosen Solution is this trick valid for Macbook Unibody (white) too? Reference to this question Trackpad click button is jammed I don’t recommend the WD-40 trick as it will only make a mess. The oil in it will act like a magnet collecting the dust and debris around your system. While its some work you can take the track pad out and clean it properly and make sure it’s OK (and if needed carefully lube the pivot-point)....
Chosen Solution Ok, this is odd. I’ve had this iPod for a few years now, it’s never given me any problems at all. I have been using/syncing it with a PC laptop, using iTunes for PC. Well, I bought a MacBook finally, and knew better than to try to sync it with the Mac, but I downloaded some tracks and moved them to the PC using a flash drive, then imported them into iTunes, which I would have thought should change any PC/Mac formatting discrepancies/issues, but perhaps not, because now the iPod sometimes will skip for a few seconds and then crash and go back out to the list of tracks (these are in a playlist) when starting to play a track....
Chosen Solution I replaced a bad battery on my iPhone 6. The process went fine, and when finished the phone came on with nearly a full charge. However, (1) the phone won’t charge. (2) plugging in a lightning cable usually does not cause the phone to charge, but bending the plug a little in the socket will cause the charge indicator to come on. (3) even when the charge indicator is on, the new battery does not charge....
Chosen Solution Hi, I’ve been a bit of an idiot and stripped the bottom two screws on the plate that goes over the screen connectors on the main board. I’ve tried rubber band and super glue and I can’t seem to put in a notch with a Stanley knife. Does anyone have any tips to remove thes screws? It would be greatly appreciated. Chosen Solution Hi all! we have another problem facing us: iphone 7/7+ - if you are so unlucky to break your homebutton or sensor flex, your phone will not boot, it will just stay at the apple logo. You simply cannot just go changing them with aftermarket parts or OEM parts, it must be fully original (not chinese-original), which means 1. much, much harder to get, 2. much, much more expensive....

Chosen Solution I have a first Gen ipad mini that got run over by a couple cars after falling out of an open trunk. The chassis , LCD and Digitizer were wrecked the insides (logic board, battery and cables look pretty much intact. My question is whether or not I can fire it up in iTunes without an LCD or digitizer attached? I’m concerned I might blow the backlight IC but am not sure if there is a work around with attaching a new LCD....
Chosen Solution My backlight is not lighting up. The screen is black but will accept touch input. I have tried reconnecting the screen, cleaning cables, and wiping down the back of the screen with a DRY rag. This problem surfaced after I attempted to add a Glowing led apple logo. The funny thing is: it worked for about 15-30 min and then stopped. I removed the LED logo but the screen is still is not functioning....
Chosen Solution Tabs that support the lower left module and tabs that support the upper all module. This logic board was given by an important person, so I cannot substitute it. But I have another logic board (donor board). Is there a way to fix it with DYI? Your only option is replacing the logic board. The RAM sockets are soldered to it. There is no means to replace them without breaking things....
Chosen Solution I just replaced the idler arm bracket for my Craftsman lawn tractor with 46" deck and forgot to check before removing the old one if the bracket (metal bar that holds pulley, brake pad, clutch spring on 46" deck) is supposed to be bolted back on tight or left slightly loose. It makes sense that it is slightly loose as otherwise the brake stop always pushes on the pulley....

This seem’s to be a very common issue with the Honda Accord(bad internal resistor has to be changed) see 2nd link. talks of repair, scroll down about to 9th of page. Chosen Solution I left my speaker out in the rain and now it no longer works. It charges up but does not turn on. All I see is one little light at the bottom in the middle but no sound. Megaphone and line in doesn’t work either. Any thoughts? Teardown that speaker and look for corrosion on the boards and cables. Ifixit article for cleaning reference. If anything send some pics and let us know how its going to assist further....

Essentially, when the left analog registers the maximum value or near maximum value for “forward” with a simultaneous depression of the stick (forward and clicked down to sprint/tac sprint in games ex: Modern Warfare) there is a simultaneous registration for the depression or perhaps depressions (many pulls at an extremely rapid rate) of the right trigger....

This replacement of rear case is too hard? Suggestions? Chosen Solution After replacing my battery my iPhone 5s reboots every 3-4 minutes, only while charging. The battery indicator also seems to be stuck. I think I may have damaged the F11(?) capacitor when I disconnected the battery (read this may be the cause on the internet). What is the name and part number of the board that contains the F11 capacitor and where the ribbon cable for the battery plugs into....
Chosen Solution I am very disappointed with the general high temperatures and the thermal throttling when gaming (World of Warcraft in MacOS). It seems to be common knowledge, that repasting a Macbook, will result in a major decrase in both idle temperatures and during load. But, I don’t know if I dare do it. Chosen Solution I attempted to replace original hard drive with an SSD. The drive was reformatted, El Capitan was downloaded and all the files were transferred to the new drive. The new drive was then tested outside of the computer and the computer booted normally while the original drive was still in the computer. I replaced the original drive with the new SSD. Computer booted normally, but none of the applications work....
