Chosen Solution The customer brought in a an Iphone 6s Plus for a screen replacement. Before we do any work we thoroughly run the phone through a series of tests so the customer can see that everything is working on the phone before the repair(test phone call, volume buttons, home button etc..). Everything checked out except the phone wouldn’t take a charge. This also helps us Identify anything that isn’t working before we do the repair so the customer knows we didn’t break it during the repair....

Chosen Solution I put a new LCD in my IPhone 6S. When I turn it on the lock screen will flash for about a half a second then it will go black. Sometimes it will stay on and the phone will work flawlessly for a few hours then out of no where it will go black again and I wont be able to get it to come back on. It could be that the drop caused something to break on your logic board, which will act out intermittently....

Chosen Solution My screen is lifting is that fixable with repair? Is the glass lifting up from the plastic front display frame? This can be due to the battery inside the phone swelling up pushing the screen. This is sometimes solved by gluing the screen back down. Not really sure what liquid to use but I use liquid glue. Also it can push up without the battery swelling if it’s a bad quality screen....

Chosen Solution My zte zmax had fell in water. I put it in rice for the water damage to be resolved. Everything works just fine on the phone except I cannot touch my screen for it to do anything. I don’t have a lot of money to fix this. What do I need to do to fix this in a cheap way? Whenever you’re dealing with water damage it’s always at best a 50/50 chance on getting the device fully restored to its previous condition....

Chosen Solution Looking at a picture of the internals of my 27" i7 iMac (aka my desktop background) it would appear that the SD card reader is a tiny board by itself underneath the optical drive. Does anyone else share my thought that it seems likely that the new SDXC card reader from the 2.93GHz i7 27" should be a direct replacement for the SDHC card reader in the 2.8GHz i7 model?...

Chosen Solution Fan is running all the time, while the laptop is totally cool and also well aired. Diagnostics returns with SMC-Problem, Reference Code PFM 006. SMC reset attempts do not change anything. What can be done? Update (12/27/2016) Dear Dan, No nothing spilled into the laptop and it did not drop or get banged. The worst that happened to it: it got transported several times in a padded back pack on planes and trains....

Chosen Solution I get a used PS4 with the “HDMI-Port problem”. So i bought a new HDMI Port but when I tried to solder it, i saw the damaged smd components… Did someone know the smd components behind the HDMI Port? The one that is closest to the HDMI port is a diode. the other one right under it just needs to be repositioned…it’s a resistor but it still looks good....

Chosen Solution I would like to know why my speaker isn’t working after a phone swap. By phone swap i mean taking every single thing out of one iPhone housing and putting it int another. I checked everything else and they work perfectly fine except the speaker. I changed it with a working one -didnt work, cleaned the contact point - didn’t work could i have torn something? Did you mean top speaker (earpiece speaker, used to hear sound during calls) or bottom speaker (loudspeaker, used to play music, ringtones and etc....

Chosen Solution The handle to my Roomba broke and I need to replace it. How do I put a new one in? The handle replacement itself is a simple task since the handle snaps on and off(no screws required). However, accessing the handle is a different task entirely. The roomba will need to be turned upside down, and partially disassembled to reach the handle on the face of the roomba. Chosen Solution My Garmin nuvi power input jack is damaged from the device falling off the screen. Where do I have this repaired?. South Australia. Chosen Solution I’ve been working in this project for a year now and swapped from a big block to a small block. Ever since I fixed the vaccum leak that I’ve been trying to find for the longest time I realized that the engine was popping( probably back firing), ticking and/or knocking. I’m not sure what it is and can’t really tell exactly what it is but sounds like it’s coming from the engine since there is no exhaust still it’s tough....

Chosen Solution My console was overheating so I tore it down and replaced the thermal paste (4ish year old console). The fan was running before, but clearly not well because the console shut off on me when I was playing a game. The inside is clean and free of dust, new thermal paste and pads have been applied. Put it back together and now I’m getting a single beep, fan kicks on, then it immediately beeps 3 times and shuts off....

Chosen Solution I have an 01 Ford Escape, and recently whenever i turn the suv on after having it on for a few hours, i hear a rattling sound (kind of like something is shaking) which lasts for about 15 seconds. This sound is not there when the car is turned on an off without cooling. It might be coming from under the car, because it doesnt sound like its from the engine....

Chosen Solution I have replaced the screen on an iPad as the original was cracked. The new screen does not stay fully attached to the device, does the adhesive need to be heated for it to attach? Which areas are pushing up? If its the bottom left you’ll need to use B7000 liquid glue to hold that corner down and use scotch tape to keep pressure on that spot until the glue sets....

Chosen Solution Hi guys, I replaced my screen once, and I think I may have damaged it while replacing, by forcing it too much. Anyway it doesn’t mind. Tried to turn it on, had that blue screen and then the boot loop....

Chosen Solution Okay so i went to China bought a xiomi phone, dropped it in water and didnt have rice to let it lie there. Many hours later, the phone is dry and turns on when powerkey pressed but screen is iresponsive. Is it possible to still retrieve my pictures if i had a password. If i reboot it will i lose m’y pictures? What should i do? If i bring you m’y phone could you open it and fully repair it even with Walter damage?...

Chosen Solution I broke my phone an went to get the screen fixed an after I got it fixed i tried turning it on and it goes to the apple Icon an the turns red an goes off sometimes it stays on the apple icon for a really long time so I have to hold the home an lock button to make it stop what is wrong with my phone an I don’t want to lose all my pictures an stuff on there help please...

Chosen Solution a1342 screen issue I have a customer who purchased a macbook a1342 from me about a month ago. They messaged in and told me her 16 year old son was using it, and all of a sudden the screen started acting weird. this is the picture they showed me. In my experience this has always been caused from a shattered LCD even if the plastic screen itself isn’t broken....
