Chosen Solution A customer had snapped of their headphones in the audio jack on their iPhone 6. I replaced the whole lightning connector and headphone jack but it is still stuck in headphone mode. Headphones work whilst plugged in but it will not switch back to normal mode. Any suggestions? you likely have a short in your new component. disconnect the charge flex from the motherboard, and see if it is still in headphone mode....
Chosen Solution So I have this Nano 7th Generation that is in great condition, but is stuck in the reboot cycles. I have factory reset the device several times but to no avail, as soon as I plug it back in it starts the reboot cycle. It wont connect to iTunes unless I have it in recovery mode. When I do have it connected to iTunes it indicates the battery is fully charged and yet, when not plugged in the Nano will not turn on AT ALL....

Few days back it suddenly started turning off as soon as a cycle would complete and I would open the door. Few minutes later it would turn back on automatically but in reset mode i.e I had to set the clock before I could use it again. Today, it went a step ahead. It now started turning Off few seconds into a cycle and then turns back On automatically a good 10+mins after....

Chosen Solution toilet bowl doesnt hold water, it flushes fine and wax ring doesnt leak. Tank fills and flushes but water doesnt stay in bowl tom hogg, of course, this may be a difficult question to answer since we do not know the make and model of your toilet ;-) Remember that the water stays at a given level because of the u-bend, which is called a trap, within the porcelain of your toilet....

The laptop is still working, but I’m wondering whether or not these wires that seem to come out of it could cause a serious problem. I would pop the bottom cover off to see why the cover is bulged. The so called wires I suspect is the conductive fabric covering the EMI shielding gasket. There is no other source that should cause this....

If you will use lead solder balls, you should be able to use the console for a longer period of time.

From my experience it’s either a bad front camera cable, Tristar chip (Charging chip that would need to be replaced via micro-soldering / board level repair) or at worst the NAND flash memory chip needing reprogramming and/or replacement. Try unplugging the front camera cable then power it on again and see how that goes....

The problem is that with the display broken I can only access it through the HDMI cable when I mirror the MMBP´s display. But, I have a couple of partitions, one Linux and one Windows that I need to access every once in a while and it’s complicated to do it....
Chosen Solution How is it done? It has been broken and the scooter has an E2 error. The throttle assembly appears to be modular. I see replacement assemblies for sale online. I can remove the throttle button and have confirmed a broken sensor, but getting the old throttle body off has escaped me so-far. 🥴 Remove the handle bar extension and grip by unscrewing it clockwise. Extra effort may be needed....
Chosen Solution Hi, I’ve replaced the inverter cable and the inverter but I still have no backlight. I did inadvertently try and put the cable into the motherboard socket upside down - is it possible i’ve damaged the contacts in such a way they no longer make contact with the cable? I didn’t really force it before I figured out it was upside down but who knows.. The fault was definitely with the cable originally - if i moved the cable the backlight would go but eventually it did stop working even when I moved the cable....
Chosen Solution Hi everyone At the final steps of replacing my iphone x battery. The top pull tab adhesive broke off, so I’ve been using heat, 65% rubbing alcohol, a piece of thin plastic plus the spunger to remove the adhesive enough so I can remove the battery. However, when I was able to remove it, I realised I’d scratched a chunk of this ribbon (?) off. Not sure what it is so I’m struggling to google....

Pic #1 FPC with broken pin Pic #2 End of flex that sides into it I HAVE TRIED HOOKING IT UP “AS IS” AND JUST BLACK SCREEN HOWEVER I KNOW ITS ON BC MY ALARMS WENT OFF THIS MORNING Just wondering if there is anyway to get around this or need a FPC connector...
