Chosen Solution I have a dewalt 4" angle grinder. It started to spark on one side of the armiture. Do you know what has happend to this tool? If the sparks go all the way around the copper strips, also called the commutator, the armature has shorted. That means the insulation between the wires and the iron has broken down in the inside of the armature. Chosen Solution My Fridgidaire Gallery side by side is not cooling properly. Freezer is right at 32-33 degrees. I cleaned ice off the coils but still not working. The compressor seems to be running and the fan below running fine. Air is blowing into freezer, but not super cold. Ice maker isn’t cycling, but I assume it’s due to it not being cold enough. Chosen Solution Original issue: Headphone jack did not work. It did not register if even something was plugged in (per the icon in the bar not appearing), even after restarts. The 3.5mm jack did not have the “click” of the headphones in the speakers, and the jack felt as though a spring was off. I replaced the headphone jack (followed the guide) and, after the new part did not fix the issue, I opened it back up, used an AUX cord to test the jack’s continuity, found that the jack had no problems....

Everything functioned perfectly for the rest of the day except the battery wouldn’t recharge. It slowly drained. I left it on the charger over night. The next morning I pressed and held the power button and got the black screen w/ the red-level low-battery charging screen. But the top corners and side of the LCD had a white haze!...

Chosen Solution When removing the LCD, I tore the tape while trying to remove it. Its the pieces from the LCD along the bottom onto the speakers. Are those essential for electrical contact? Thanks Do you mean the tape at Step 45 of this guide? It’s not ideal but I don’t think it makes a lot of difference either way. Sometimes the tape just won’t adhere properly (like during a second repair) and it causes no issues....
