Chosen Solution My son broke his switch lite screen. The touch part still works. Do I need the LSD screen/protector, the digitizer or both? You only need to replace the LCD screen, but I would also recommend buying another digitizer. iFixit has the digitizer and LCD replacement guides, and you can buy the screen and digitizer from them.

There seems to be few out there that have done this, but here is one person who made a “guide”. The pictures and instructions aren’t the best but may be good enough to get you inside. Be forewarned, the person that made that guide and several other sources around the internet indicate that there isn’t exactly an excess of parts available, and home disassembly only drives up the cost of having Apple fix for you....
Chosen Solution After recently replacing my GPU card and chip, I ran Apple Service Diagnostic 3S123 and discovered I have an error that states: Thermal Interface -Video Controller:G92gt (test #4) -TIM Test 75 percent Gardband-Check that CPU heatsink is properly attached, using product spec theta dh + 75 percent guard band. Any suggestions on how to fix that? I can’t find anything online about it. I don’t even know where to look on my machine for that item....

Chosen Solution This device won’t take a charge, I’ve put a different battery in it, and charged the other battery in a different unit and the battery is just fine. I’ve tried different chargers, both of the two different styles that I’m aware of, but still no success. @cando_it so if the battery works and holds a charge and if the power supply works properly then you need to check the power supply connector....

Unless you already did, open system preferences and create a brand new user, then log out from your existing one and get into the new one....

The old screen would flicker and apps were automatically opening which would go in a loop. New screen replaced and was working fine for few few days except the bottom of the screen keyboard would sometimes cause a few keyboard keys to not work properly....

If it’s sticking it could be due to dirt. There’s a small chance you can clean it out. Spares for modern compact cameras are rarely if ever available, but there are plenty advertised cheaply on eBay as “spares or repair”....
Chosen Solution I’ve an iPhone XS Max with a busted screen. I ordered a replacement but the screen won’t fit. It has these little tabs sticking out all down right hand side but existing screen doesn’t so there’s nowhere for these tabs to slot into. Can anyone tell me why or how to get around this please? thanks. Chosen Solution The plug does not fit snugly into the port and it is hard to get it to retain a connection. A new adapter is loose as well. From research it looks like to replace it on this model requires soldering? Is there anything else I can do short of paying someone to solder in a new one? Chosen Solution I’m have the same issuse a lot of people are having with the older macbook now. screen goes black. you can still see image slightly and pushing the display brightness buttons do nothing. if i close the lid almost all the way the screen comes back, but if i open it all the way again in goes black again(sometimes) other times it works just fine. using an external display works fine too....

Chosen Solution This MBP was pushed way past impending doom warning signs, and eventually a hinge gave out, screen hinge screws stripped the threads of the screen assembly on 3 of 4 screw holes, WiFi/BT cables snapped along with webcam cable. The screen assembly completely separated away from the body with no connections of any kind remaining. I have new hinges, new antennas, new LVDS cable. The screen works, the antennas work, but I’m left with a torn webcam cable sticking out the bottom of the screen (as picture) and cannot attach the screen as the screws won’t tighten - the threads in the screen assembly are no good....
