Chosen Solution After the first update of the apple watch, the screen became only a red exclamation mark? Your watches battery likely has a problem as the update failed which is a stressful process. If you moved the watch off the charging puck during the update that can also effect things. Apple extended the warranty on the Apple Watch so it should be covered. Get to an Apple Store and have them take a look....

Always practice on a broken logicboard as when i 1st started i had a cheap air gun and cheap soldering gun and i ended up burning off the pads behind the chip connectors and that was down to the heat so i got all the proper equipment then practiced on a smd diy clock that i built then onto broken logicboards and now im loving it but its all down to practice, good luck

During the repair I tore the cable that the home button connects to. I replaced that cable and now after replacing the screen the touch almost never works. I can try to swipe over to the unlock screen but it will only swipe over once or twice every 30 attempts....

I don’t know of any WD Raptor drives in the 2.5" form factor. The other concern here is heat and power usage. WD Raptor 10K drives are also major power hogs, so the machine will probably shut down from overdraw....

Chosen Solution I replaced my battery with the ifixit battery. Followed all the battery conditioning instructions to the T. I have tried resetting the SMC. Nothing is seeming to fix the problem. I use my laptop off the charger it runs down to about 20-30% percent in 1-2 hours, then drops to 7% and stays at 7-6% for a few more hours but during the use, while its reading 7-6% the performance of the laptop is Dramatically Worse....
Chosen Solution Can an (SD)(D1) screen replace an LM215WF3 (SD)(D3) screen? Our screen shattered and all I can find online are (SD)(D1)’s. I’ve been told that and D3 can replace the D1 but no one seems to know if it works the other way around. Sadly, I don’t think to many people have had your plight which is why no one knows the answer here. You may find going to an Apple Store will be the cheaper way to go on this system....

Chosen Solution Yesterday in the course of replacing the hard drive, I hurt the black paint (black box) on the inner side of the screen when cutting. Does anyone know how to repair it? Some paint? Scratches are at the bottom of the screen. Sadly there is no means to touchup the paint as you cut into the seam between the cover glass (which is painted) and the LCD panel. Apple fuses the two together so dust or dirt does not collect between the glass plates....

Next use a multimeter to check the wall outlet to see if it is providing power. Next use your multimeter to check the Line Fuse. The line fuse blows if the washer circuits are overloaded. Chosen Solution Exactly what the question says. Bought a lot of 2, both said it was dead. Got a charged battery and it fired right up. Shows Apple logo for split second then shows a black screen. It charges, and when I plug it in it will turn on. How would I fix this? Edit: Now the other phone is doing the exact same thing, except it will show the Apple logo for about 2 secs....

The initial result was good: 6,058mAh through the first 3 cycles, per Coconut Battery. I did notice that it was taking longer to charge the computer, but I attributed that to the new battery’s size - I was working with 3,528mAh (61% of original capacity) on 1,616 cycles before this new battery....
