Chosen Solution I got a MacBook pro 2009 mid C2D and last week motherboard has broken, can I place a newer motherboard on it without a problem and fully working ? If the webcam or Bluetooth isn’t compatible isn’t problem neither. Like a motherboard from Mid 2010 A1297 17" MacBook Pro 2.66 GHz i7 ? I thought about doing this conversion to my 2009 17" when the motherboard began to show signs of failure once it became clear that I cannot get a new board for the system and many of the used boards are old and are at best, junk or dead at this point....

Chosen Solution My trio tablet will change screens and flash just as if some one were touching the screen.it just goes bazerk all by its self.has any one else ever encountered this problem,my tablet is basically unusable.the first year I had it,it worked just fine. Most likely the lcd display has gone faulty. If you still have warranty, try getting a replacement.

Chosen Solution My PS4 is turning off after about 15 minutes into playing games or slightly more when listening to music. It turns off without any warning with several relay clicking sounds, no beeping, no red light. The console may be restarted after reconnecting the power cord or waiting a little and first pressing the eject button (3 beeps, no disc inside) and the power button after (only pressing the power button will give a beep, but nothing happens)....

Chosen Solution What do i do? (look at short question) If luck is on your side, try booting while holding down the trackpad button (which, in this instance, is the entire trackpad). If that does not eject the disc, you will probably need to remove the optical drive, pull the cover off the drive, and remove the mini disc. Unfortunately, that machine is so new that there aren’t many repair guides available....

Chosen Solution I helped someone replace the display on her Galaxy S7 at a repair cafe the weekend. The repair went well, everything was working on the phone EXCEPT that the on screen recent apps and back “buttons” on either side of the home button no longer appear when tapped. Is this something that might be fixed with a reset or is this a potential problem with the display assembly? Thanks for the help....

Chosen Solution I had yellow light of death in repaired it now all I get is a red light please help The red light of death does mean overheating if i remember correctly. There are two ways to fix it. First, you can get some sort of a box or closed container and a blow dryer. Then, try to get the ps3 as hot as possible ( I know it sounds stupid, but it worked for me)....

Chosen Solution how do you get a hold of ifixit for a warranty issue. Didn’t see anything on there website. Purchased and installed a new battery in a iPhone 6 back in March 2020 and now the phone is charging pretty quick but dies almost as soon as you pull it off charge. Or it will be on charge showing 24% and then you do a couple thing while it’s plugged up and it will just shut down....

Chosen Solution Have a Volkswagen Golf 2003 model. How to reset the radio? Have some errors I believe can be solved with a reset.. The problem is, I use the up-down buttons and switch radio station with nothing happens .. Antenna is replaced it must be the radio Hi, take of the ground wire from the battery for about two minutes, then put it back on. This should do a reset not only to the radio, but to the whole CAN-Bus system as well....

Chosen Solution I opened up my VivoBook trying to see if I could fix keys which weren’t working. I can’t. I put it back together and now the screen doesn’t work. How do I begin to investigate what’s wrong with the screen? @fixup2112 start off by connecting an external monitor to your Asus. If that functions properly you know that you have an issues with your LCD. If it does not then you will have to dig deeper into the motherboard to see if you are having GPU issues....

Chosen Solution I have a HP Photosmart 2610. The screen indicates a carriage jam, to open, clear the jam, close the door and press the OK, and resume. The resume however is just back to the same jam screen. Where to start? If you have completely cleared the jam, I would reset the printer. The manual should explain how to do this. Or you can try shutting it off and removing it from power supple for a minute or so then re-connect....

Chosen Solution I need a repair manual to replace the hinges. Somehow the screws under the rubber feet on the left no longer hold, plastic particles have broken out. Tighten the screw, now it is no longer pure and there are plastic parts eroded. When I open the laptop, the case gapes, what can I do? Do I have to swap the hinge or possibly parts of the housing? Which parts do I have to disassemble to get to the hinge?...

Chosen Solution MacBook Pro (9 1) Mid 2012 Hi All, Lately, I’ve been having kernel panics and crashes on my mid-2012 MBP. I bought the thing second hand, did the basic optical / SSD switch and 16GB RAM upgrade and it’s been working great for the past 2 years. I found that the upper RAM slot was causing issues, so cleaned them both with Isopropyl. That helped. Panics returned. I then went through and tightened down the logic board and other components that had come loose through the years....

Chosen Solution My Skull-Candy Hesh headphones have finally broken after years of use. The right side of my headphones, the piece right above the adjuster is cracked and pushes out when I am listening to music or my daily things. This makes them uncomfortable on my right ear nothing to crazy it is just something I have been dealing with but I am tired of have to put tape or something to keep it held back....

Chosen Solution Hello, the problem started like a month ago and till this day I can’t fix it. First of all the blinking question mark in the Folder icon appeared. I tried verifying, repairing, tests were OK but in result nothing changed. I erased everything and tried installing SIERRA with auto internet utility. Stuck at 13% and failed. Then I tried installing YOSEMITE booting from usb. Success. While updating the apps and setting up, laptip restarted - FOLDIER icon again....

Chosen Solution I recently purchased a Surface book Core i7 2.60GHz 16GB RAM 512GB SSD 13.5’’ laptop. I knew there was a display issue when I purchased it. I went ahead and plugged the surface book into an external monitor and everything works just fine. I went into display settings and noticed that Windows was only picking up the external display and when I attempt to detect displays it is unable to find the clipboard/tablet screen....

Chosen Solution When the PATA cable is plugged in the computer boots, but it doesn’t display anything on the monitor and the hard drive doesn’t start at all (it’s not vibrating).
