Chosen Solution My phone was working fine until today morning when I found out that it won’t turn anymore! This may be a battery problem. Did you leave your phone charging all night? If you did this, is probable that your battery went bad. Open your phone and remove the battery to check if your battery seems to have swollen, if it did you will need to replace it. If you don’t notice any swelling then connect your phone to the charger and check if the charging light turns on, if it does but the phone does not seem to charge then you will also need to replace the battery....

Chosen Solution I managed to get a HTC EVO 4G, working after its ROM was deleted. Its now running Cyanogenmod 7.2 . It was already rooted, running Supersonic EVT2-2 and HBOOT version 0.79.0000, plus some other info I can provide if needed, April 14, 2010 is the date listed. RA supersonic v. 2.3 is listed in android recovery mode, or it was rather after using ROM manager app, ClockworkMod recovery is now listed when entering recovery mode from the bootloader....

Chosen Solution Quickly: Samsung 850 Evo 500GB Installed. I used a bootable usb of High Sierra and a sata-usb adapter. I formatted SSD and installed clean OS X High Sierra. Then using Disk Utility Migration I copied all files, apps and other stuff from machintosh HD to SSD. Before I swapped the drives I booted from SSD externally and it worked like a charm. I then swapped the old Mac HD with the SSD and ran disk utility again....

Chosen Solution Where to I take it to to replace strap on my Alta - my dog chewed it Order a new one anywhere—-I got a handful of them on eBay inexpensively. These are very easy to replace. Just press the silver button and the band slides right off. Change the color every day!

Chosen Solution Does anyone know if the MacBook Pro 13 Late 2013 (A1493) Top Case is compatible for the MacBook Pro 13 Mid 2014 (A1502) hardware. I have come across sites that say they are compatible. However, I see the trackpad trimming for the A1493 is different from the A1502. Also, they are using different cables to attach the trackpad to the Logic Board. I am unsure if the cable will become damaged from the weird trim from the A1493 Top Case....

Chosen Solution Hello, I want to replace the keyboard on my Toshiba Portege Z30-B, but there is currently no repair guide, parts or tools for the keyboard of this specific model. I am assuming that it may well follow the same format (and possibly even use the same parts) as another Toshiba model that is covered by ifixit, but not sure which one that would be. Could someone advise me as to which guide, parts and/or tools I might be able to use from ifixit that would work for the keyboard from this model of laptop?...

I already downloaded temp&fan monitoring apps. while the fan app seems to work fine, it drops the temp on almost every indicator but not on the power supply position1, which even gets higher as the fan rises its speed. i already past the hardware test and got the following error:4sns/1/40000000:TpOP-106.816 which seems to be related to the psu sensor....

The good news was it was in an OtterBox Defender, which kept the nastiness out of every port and surface • but• the speaker on the bottom left. Now it sounds VERY low (volume), grainy and shrill. Chosen Solution My rear left wheel makes a thumping noise intermittently. At times it seems the golf cart “feels” like that tire might be oblonged. The brakes work well and the tire has been checked – its okay. Dan, If you have had tire and rim checked and they are OK, check for loose hub/wheel, brake could be sticking/ intermittent, bad bearing, bent shaft. Good luck. I want to update my MBP with components from MBA mainly SSD, RAM and battery. Are these parts interchangeable between two laptops? Chosen Solution I’m replacing the aluminum back on my iPad mini 2 Wifi. There is 7 tabs fixed to the side of the aluminum back. These are along the side opposite of the logic board. Looks to be for the lcd screen to rest against. My new back does not have these. Any suggestions on how to remove them? Or a part number so I can order new ones? Thanks in advance....

Checked the outlet, outlet is fine. My first thought was the power supply board but when I tried unplugging the main computer board from the power supply board and then plugged the TV in, the back-lights came on right away....

Following the step by step video after I turned on the phone I find out that the right side of the screen are darker especially on the top right. The oringinal screen does not have this issue. Chosen Solution To sum it up my laptop fell on the tablet with screen protected case. I noticed there is crack on the tablet at the bottom but I could not feel the crack when I touched the screen. When I first turned on the screen, it was green and few weeks after I turned on it was just blank black and I can’t see screen. I can still hear the sound when I touched the screen....

Thanks There are several microphones on an iPhone, the one used by Siri is the front upper one, just beside the front camera. Unless the little hole got badly clogged and doesn’t let anymore the sound in, in which case sound would be heavily muffled, you’ll have to replace the front camera assembly or follow the replacement replacement guide to check there’s no dirt in place....

Chosen Solution I dropped my iphone 6s the other day and now the loudspeaker doesn’t work. I swapped loudspeakers with my parts phone and it still doesn’t work, but the “broken” one works on the parts phone. I don’t think its software bc i restored the phone. Chosen Solution Once before this occurred. I disassembled and reassembled and it worked for a year. Just happened again. Suggestions? Well guys (and ladies too) I just disassembled the handle end. checked voltage at switch (OK) and disconnected all the wires. Some looked a little crimped in spots from my previous repair! Anyhow, I disconnected all leads and re-routed the wiring; taking care to pass them through the appropriate slots. When I was all done it ran just fine....
