Chosen Solution Hello, I am attempting to repair my iPad Air Gen 1, and the suction cup won’t stick enough to pull up the adhesive. It’s cracked so badly (spiderwebbed) that without the tape, the cup only cracks the screen further. Any suggestions? Thanks very much. Cody I usually apply transparent tape all over the broken areas. Nonetheless, the suction cup will still not hold. You just have to do without it....

Hi, As water is a conductor of electricity you should turn off the tablet immediately and then open it and disconnect the battery from the systemboard as soon as you can. This is to prevent more damage to the components caused by errant circuit paths being created by the water. As there is always power connected to the systemboard (even if the tablet is turned off- the power switch does not isolate the battery - turning it off though will reduce the problems that may occur) due to the presence of water there is always the possibility of components being exposed to voltages or currents that they were not designed to cope with....

It did not have a power cord so i went on line and ordered one through the Panasonic web site I hooked my cable box up plugged in the television and i get no picture sound or anything. Chosen Solution I am considering upgrading my system with an ssd, however, I would like to have extra storage. My thought was to use the old WD 250gb HDD as storage in the DVD bay. The HDD is a WDC WD2500AAJS-40VWA1 And the dvd is the OPTIARC DVD RW AD-5630A The ssd would go into the regular bay. Is such a thing possible or even worth while? Not sure what the speeds would be going to the HDD Thanks for your time....
Chosen Solution Bought the full display assembly replacement part and swapped it onto an iPhone SE. Everything works except for the speakerphone microphone (the call microphone works). Any connections I should double check? Or is this indicative of a faulty part? The full display assembly comes with the small parts already installed. While a time-saver, small parts are themselves notorious for lower quality. It’s always best to transfer over the Apple original parts to the replacement screen....

I looked at the 45 step teardown just to get to it and that it’s listed as a very difficult repair. I saw online that this could be done for $99.00 at one of the repair services. Just used the upper case replacement guide to clean and check for dust and some old coffee accident traces, all worked fine and easy, but since then my optical drive started to act like crazy. After a while i discovered that i maybe have tighten the whole thing a bit too much. Loosing up on the down side and a bit on the sides already helped a bit, but not quite as it was before....

You want to proceed in a somewhat logical manner. Your battery is most likely expanding due to it having failed through the water damage. So the very first thing you want to do is to not try to restart the phone sync it or otherwise continue to use it....
Chosen Solution I recently bought a 1988 c3500, when I got the truck the first day it ran fine, the next day I started it up and she fired right over.. While idling in Park I could rev. The engine with no issues.. When I would drive down the street and give its gas it would lose power, spit sputter and stall. Put it in neutral and it would start right back up....

It originally had a damaged charging port which was replaced and since then whenever its plugged in to charge the battery keeps draining even while switched off. This also happens with a new battery. I was not able to see which was the original HD until I opened 5 minutes ago. I chose the Seagate because I read about its compatibility with my imac mid 2010. Well, the problem is that the thermal sensor connector (8 pins) does not fit in the Seagate (4 pins)....
Chosen Solution Replaced the screen/digitizer, but didn’t notice that I had pulled the cable too hard and it broke in two. When soldering a new one on, is it just a quick touch to tack it on?
