Chosen Solution I dropped my iPad mini over a year ago and smashed the digitizer display. i replaced this and then the lcd screen broke too so i replaced that but i did this without disconnecting the battery as i did not know that i needed to disconnect it. after doing this, the screen would not come on but the iPad would make sounds e.g. when it was charging. i read up about the problem and found that i may have blown a fuse on my board for the backlight....

Is this a result of not enough RAM? Will upgrading to 16 GB of RAM improve performance? What is happening is the hard drive is reading from the swap and writing it back into the RAM. Chosen Solution The keyboard on a family member’s Macbook Pro (13”, late 2016, Function Keys) broke. Since it was covered under the repair program, we took it to an Apple Authorized Service Provider (not Apple themselves) so that it could be fixed for free. The repair took a few days, and we received the Macbook back. The keyboard now behaves normally. Unfortunately, the speakers (which were perfectly fine before the repair) no longer work....

Hi, It may be either a loose touchscreen (digitizer) cable connection or a faulty digitizer. Either way the phone will need to be opened and the touchscreen flex cable connection checked to see if it is OK and if so then most probably the touchscreen will need to be replaced....

Chosen Solution I understand it’s a common problem on ageing macbooks and ours is no different! The edging around the keyboard case and the LCD front bezel has chipped away and has left cracks around the edges. I was wondering if anybody had any luck covering the edges with tape, silicone or something? I would imagine some kind of tape would inevitably curl up at the edges and maybe leave a sticky residue....

Chosen Solution Hi, I have a Toshiba FireTV that was purchased brand new in June 2019. Last week, the image randomly started jumping around every two seconds. The image is fine for two seconds, then starts jumping for another two seconds, goes back to normal for two seconds, jumps again, etc (see the video below). The issue normally starts happening after the TV is opened for a while. At the beginning, only the bottom of the screen jumps around, but the whole screen becomes affected after a couple of minutes....

Chosen Solution The leather on my Razer Kraken 7.1 pro is breaking up, so i bought a replacement headband (not from Razer, because they don’t sell such a thing (because they are Razer)). However, after some fiddling around with the headphones I have not been able to find a way to actually replace the headband. Chosen Solution Had an iMac (27-inch, Mid 2010) suffering a power supply failure. Replaced the power supply and now the unit powers on, but the fans run constantly at 100%. Diagnostics show 17 of the 25 sensors (most of them temp, but a couple of voltage sensors) as “can’t read”. Trying to figure out if the sensor failures are due to a problem with the new PSU, or if they are simply a secondary issue that couldn’t be diagnosed until the PSU was replaced....

Chosen Solution I purchased a replacement screen from iFixit and followed the replacement steps. Now when I am putting everything back together the screen doesn’t want to fit back on. It sits flush all of the way around except fro the top. When I look at the side that is not closing properly I see two little tabs that don’t appear to be on my old screen. Now I am not sure if they were at some point part of the original screen since the screen was broken and came off of the watch in pieces....
