Chosen Solution Hello! I am currently preparing to open up my device, but Asus decided for some reason to put the screws underneath the rubber pads. I was able to find a replacement for them from accessories-asus.com, but they’re really overpriced. Can anyone either recommend a way to reattach them after the procedure, or a place to buy them cheaper? Thank you! Doesn’t really matter. Double sided tape, any common adhesive used very lightly, etc....
Chosen Solution Is it possible and or safe to put a Note 7 battery in note FE? Hi Miguel, It may be possible, but not safe to use the Note 7 battery in the FE, even though it would connect. The Note 7 battery is slightly bigger physically than the FE’s and trying to fit it into the FE would increase the chance of fire.
Chosen Solution The screen believes I’m sending it inputs eg thinks I’m pressing the screen. It seems to not do it as much when the screen’s darkness is lower. I have tried to reset it but it does not fix it. I’m wondering if it’s a screen replacement or if I can take it apart and clean to restore it. Thanks A proper screen replacement will be able to fix your issue. Most shops won’t warranty the repair as it had water damage previously. There is no way to “clean” the water out of the screen, only a replacement will work....
Chosen Solution After replacing the battery my screen stayed black. Once I had reconnected the display once again three vertical lines apeared upon powering the phone on. The phone vibrates when I turn on the silent mode, but apart from the lines the screen stays black. Do you know where the problem lies? #1/ It is most probably a damaged screen. You damaged the flat cabled while disconnecting and reconnecting the screen cables....
Chosen Solution I have went thru !&&* with this phone to start off I cracked the screen badly and got it fixed at some screen fixing kiosk at the mall which completely voided my warranty. my big mistake was paying the same price the Apple Store asked for at the kiosk. however that’s not the point, they did a poor job because a couple weeks later I drop my phone and get the color lines and black screen on one side of my phone....
Chosen Solution Hi, My imac A1207 20" screen is just black. In a previous replacement of the cdrom I brake the siplzy cable and it worked badly, showing horizontal lines and a 256 color display. After replacing the cable, I just dont have any image. I can only note that #1, 2 and #3 leds are grren solid and when I put the imac to sleep the #3 led goes off while the other two keeps on....

Chosen Solution i severed a cable that is glued to the backplate of the digitizer (it can be seen in the repair manual step 22 img), do you sell thet specific part? or do i have to buy the whole kit? That could be the digitizer cable or the lcd cable. Is a little bit hard to find the cable only ussually they are sold with the digitizer or the Lcd....
Chosen Solution I’m trying to figure out what type of damage this is to the screen. The screen still works but it looks like it has a streak running from the bottom left side up to the middle. It almost looks like it is a bit shinier. When it is turned off it has no noticeable damage. I think it could be related to pressure damage because the laptop was on my back during a bumpy car ride and it’s possible there was some excess pressure on it....

Chosen Solution Dual Graphics Mid 2015 15 inch Macbook Pro shuts down whilst booting. It never reaches the full load bar as it shuts down midway, the shutdown times vary. First time seems to load longer than subsequent tries. It still shuts down after: I disconnect the battery, insert a different SSD with MacOS, try re-installing MacOS. Hardware Diagnosis gives me Faulty Airport Card and Battery. Finally, it stays on with no issues in Single User Mode indefinitely, where I am able to run commands fsck etc etc....
Chosen Solution After changing the display on an iPad Air 2, the smart case is not being seen by the device Did you transfer over the Smart Case sensor from the old display to the new one? It needs to be desoldered from the original display and soldered onto the new one. Check out this video.

Chosen Solution Hello, I have an iphone 6 Plus and sometimes during a call (happens randomly), It begins to do this weird high-pitch screeching and then the microphone stops working. I have gone ahead and replaced the top speaker and also the lighting cable/headphone connector piece so far and it still happens every now and then. It does go away when I restart the phone.
