Chosen Solution I’ve noticed that ifixit doesn’t have a wide variety of Samsung galaxy parts. Does anyone have suggestions for a place that has a larger variety of quality parts at affordable prices? Grant, I suggest you google or bing search for best prices/selection on parts for Samsung galaxy. Remember to check their ratings/reputation if you can before using there service. Chosen Solution Have lock symbol with circle going round it , won’t do anything at all Most likely going to need to do a factory reset (which will wipe all data) if the correct passcode doesn’t unlock the boot encryption. That can be done by booting the tablet into recovery mode by doing the following: Hold power + volume down + home until the screen goes off.Immediately switch to holding power + volume up + home, release power but hold other two keys once something is displayed on the screen....

Chosen Solution Sometimes the screen backlight flickers of my Macbook Air mid 2013 (especially if backlight is set on low) and sometimes goes black after a while (I can still see the screen working, but without the backlight). Chosen Solution For the past day my laptop has been crashing. It will run for about 5-30 mins just fine. All of a sudden, the screen will fail (it will sort of “swipe cut” with a rainbow trailing edge). With a few attempts, i can get it to come back on, but only after turning my laptop off, then back on (sometimes it does nothing but run the fan for awhile without turning back on)...

The only way for the screen to turn on is to force reboot the phone.But then the same problem , screen goes black if phone locks. Chosen Solution I recently opened up my MacBook Pro and replaced the keyboard inside. After closing it up and booting it up, the screen remains dark. I hooked up an external monitor to it and it did work, I also checked the display setting in the system preferences, and while it did recognize the monitor, the system’s screen wasn’t on the list. So I figured the problem must be between the logic board and the screen, probably the cable’s connection to the logic board....

Chosen Solution I have an iPhone 5 that the sleep/wake power button wasn’t working. I read online and did some research and it seems it is either one of two things or both. The button itself could be damaged or the power button/volume/mute flex cable could be damaged. I replaced the sleep/wake power button with no success. Chosen Solution Hi everyone, I’ve just completed a housing replacement on an iPhone XR and upon testing found that the taptic engine and the loudspeaker (Earpiece working fine) are not working. After rechecking connections and testing I found the same problem with the device. My immediate thought was that I’d damaged the charging port however, the device was still charging with that same charging port just fine. Before I order the new charging port I just wanted to ask here to see if other people also believe the issue is the charging port....

Chosen Solution The input jack bit on my lenovo g580 has come lose and now moves away when i try to connect it to the power lead, anyone have any idea of how to fix it back in place, it’s attached to the usb ports on the side that are also loose. I’ve tried bracing it with some plsatic and gluing it in place but it wasn’t strong enough Cheers...

Chosen Solution I dropped my phone and am near the end of closing up my phone (Putting on the waterproof sticker), and I noticed the top is bent. I don’t think I will be able to put the screen on without bending it back, so does anybody know how I could bend it back? You can try to use a small set of pliers covered with the microfiber cloth (to prevent scratches) to bend out the metal on the phone....

There is a tiny hole that can get clogged, try cleaning it out with 99% IPA. Otherwise, its a pretty easy process to replace it....
