Chosen Solution Hello, so basically I dropped my phone and now the screen has several white stripes reaching from top to bottom on the right side of the screen. I don’t have AppleCare and my warranty has expired already. I read somewhere on this site about checking the connectors by opening the phone, etc. Would that work out for me? Chosen Solution I’ve hard reset my phone and performed a full erase/restore. The touchscreen will work initially, and then eventually stop. Parts of screen images will seem to burn into the screen (retention/ghosting). This all resets for a bit if I turn the screen off and wake it back up. Images are normal and touch works for a bit (minute or less) then the above starts happening again. There will also be light vertical artifacts on the screen, like bars....
Chosen Solution Will a macbook air 11 inch model A1465 screen fit on a macbook air 11 inch model A1370? 2010-2012 (A1370 for 2010-2011 and A1465 for 2012) screen assemblies are cross compatible with each other, 2013-2015 (A1465) screen assemblies are cross compatible. You will need a 2010-2012 screen if your model is a 2012 model. The LCD panels work across all models if you are just replacing this rather than the whole lid, the only difference between earlier and late models are the camera cable length, WiFi cable length and LCD cable type (earlier are gold, later silver, but both interchangeable)....
Chosen Solution My flatmate used my new MBP 15" Retina today, got finger stains on it and then went to clean it. They say just with tap water, but there are stains all over the screen like a smudgy mist that won’t come off - i think they used some kind of washing up liquid or soap. I’ve tried a micro fibre cloth, and special bought lcd cleaner, but its not worked, the smudges are all there still....
Chosen Solution My camera was working fine, I simply left it in a table a couple of days and when I tried to use it again the screen was black. But the problem seems to be that there is no backlight, if I put it in a dark room I can see that it is showing the normal info, if in Autofocus, when I touch the screen it blinks the green light to focus, and I can even take pictures (I took the memory card to my computer and saw that it is taking pictures), but simply the screen is not bright enough to see what is going on....
Chosen Solution I spilled before 2 months coca cola on the keyboard of my macbook pro mid 2010(A1286 15’’). I assembled everything and cleaned it with alcohol(ethanol). For the first minutes it worked well but then shift key was acting like it was always on. But after 5 days it has been fixed by itself. My problem is that the shift malfunction appeared again, after 2 months(now I am using external keyboard)....
Chosen Solution I received a North American version of the Nintendo brand SNES controller where the right bumper does not respond. I opened it up and cleaned out all the contacts and I also can’t find any sort of wire break or pin problem. I read that this may have to do with how the controller interacts with the CPU with pulse clock cycles, but other controllers I’ve tried don’t have this issue....
Chosen Solution The volume button only works for the up button. but not the down. I do not see any replacement part for this or any kind of repair mentioned anywhere. Hope you can help. Chosen Solution My iphone 4 battery was working fine like usual and it was low on battery so i went to charge it, when i plugged it to charge it, it had a “fully charged” symbol in the battery icon and continued to slowly die when connected to the charger the whole time. I tried many diferent charging methods(computer, a/c, speaker dock) and cables and all had the same result no a fully charged symbol....
Chosen Solution Hiya, I replaced the HDMI port on my PS4 last night - 99% sure that was the problem as the pins inside the old one were all mashed up. After replaced and reassembled the console still shows no signal - everything else seems to be working fine (as far as it powering up and the light going white) The only thing different to the previous HDMI port is there is solder bridging 2 of the anchor pins on one side!...
Chosen Solution My iPhone XS Max is stuck in an infinite boot loop, but when it reboots It gives a quick flash of green. I’ve left it on for 6+ hours boot looping. I was trying to get it into Recovery or DfU even but it doesn’t even show up on 3uTools nor iTunes. Chosen Solution switch on and it says prot and goes off darren, The prot means it goes into protection mode and shuts itself down to prevent any further damage. It is possible that your DVD player has detected a problem in the amplifier section and is shutting down to prevent further damage. I would check is all of the speaker wiring. Sometimes it will indicate that the internal fan is not working or the internal sensors have failed to recognize that the fan is functioning....

Have a problem with the temperature gauge reading hot when I do over 50mph or uphill, if I slow down it goes straight back to normal, it’s not actually overheating. It only does it when I have the heater fan on, which my garage says is impossible, any ideas?. Chosen Solution Hello, I bought an Asus laptop (X541UVK) a year ago and now I’m experiencing a weird problem, the PC randomly shutdown while on battery, I can sometimes turn it on again by pressing the power button but it will shut down again after seconds or minutes, at first it looks like that’s a battery issue but I don’t really think that. I stressed both the GPU & CPU at the same time to see if the battery can deliver enough amperage and to check my temperatures, after 10mins the temperature of the CPU was 50°C and the GPU 60°C, so that means I have no thermal issues (which doesn’t surprise me) and probably the battery is fine, I restarted the same test while shaking the laptop (no worries I got an SSD) to check if the battery isn’t fully plugged or something like that but no luck, the laptop still works xD....
Chosen Solution Hi, my Sony KD-65X9000B TV won’t start up, it just has a red light that flashes four times and no other response. The components on the power board look mostly ok but there is a slight smell around the top left of the board near the capacitors and diodes up there and it looks like heat has affected the insulation on those primary/secondary coils. On the backside of the board there also looks like heat stress around those diodes....

Chosen Solution I have a microsoft trackball explorer and really like to get the damaged cord fixed as I loved this mouse , is it possible ? If the mouse is still working but the insulation on the cord is cracking you can fix it with Sugru. Otherwise if you dismantle the mouse it should be possible to chop off the damaged part and solder the good part of the lead to the board or the stump of the wires....
