Chosen Solution I’ve disassembled and repaired my HTC One, but I can’t really get all the tape that was covering the ribbon cables to re-adhere. My impression is that it was just there to keep things in place, and maybe prevent shorting. In that case can I use regular electrical tape instead? If not, where can I find the right tape? You are correct, that tape is used to hold the cables in place....

After replacement, the charging port works (the reason I replaced to begin with) however my auxiliary port plays out only the right half of the output. Is this due to a loose connector or faulty part? Chosen Solution Hi, I’ve had bars and glitches appear on my MacBook Pro 2017 13” Touch Bar. They are seemingly out of the blue. The screen went back to normal at certain angles for a little while, but now they appear at every angle. It isn’t a software issue, I’ve reset the SMC, NVRAM, etc Even the OS with Apple Support but still nothing. An external monitor works fine, so I don’t think its a graphics issue either....

Chosen Solution Hi everyone, I will tell u the problems right now…. My kindle 3 showed the following screen “EMPTY BATTERY”, so i tried to charged it for several hours and that seemed to work. Orange LED turned to Green LED and the kindle was alive. After a few pages, the screen froze on the sleep mode and the GREEN LED turned off. I tried to charge it again, and i saw the same result as before, but now, the LED is everytime green and it turn OFF after 5/7 seconds with a blanked page on the screen....
Chosen Solution hey wassup guys, i bought a 2tb ssd bundle kit from ifixit. im wondering if its possible to just remove everything from inside the computer. take the ssd blade off the back of the logic board. run the sata data/power cable to my 2tb ssd which i cloned my operating system to, and mount it in the hard drive bracket once its all put back together. sorry if this question has been asked before....
