Chosen Solution I noticed that the silicone tubes pumping water from the tank have become dirty with a possible build up of fungus. They need to be replaced. Is there any guidance on this? Thanks! Chosen Solution Hello I have now completed several iPhone 6 screen replacements however seem to get a similar issue on most of them. When you turn the device on and the white Apple screen shows, you can see a slightly whiter patch at the top of the screen. This is near to the ear piece assembly area. I have taken apart again but I still seem to get the same thing....

Chosen Solution sev.keys like O,P, E and a couple others work and then stop working. I shut it down and they don’t work, shut it down and then they do work for a lil while…v.frustrating. Chosen Solution hey people, i did an meson ic repair, but the phone restarts sometimes. also the visual disapears sometimes, when putting the lightning cable in for example. and sometimes when i start the phone there is no backlight and visual. and sometimes its bootlooping. what could this be? do i have to search around the dock connector? or is this something where the backlight filtes are? hope somebody can help me....

Chosen Solution by keeping earphones it’s working properly but when earphones are out it’s not working Hi, Do not know your phone that well but is there a notification that tells you that the earphones are connected? If so does it stay there when you remove the earphones? If so you may have a faulty earphone socket. If not it seems as though the receiver is either faulty or has become disconnected from the systemboard....

Chosen Solution Should I put my SSD in the old optical bay or the original HDD bay? I’m wondering whether one is better to boot from because I intend to use the SSD as the Boot/application drive. Experience tells me to put it in the optical bay. I have had far fewer problems doing it this way.

Chosen Solution Heated the board and let it cool off put new thermal paste and assembled fan still not running did have gray bars on the screen before shutdown @oldassgamer you are not telling us a lot;-). You forgot to mention how you heated the board, what temperatures you heated the board up to, what the board does now etc. The more detail you provide the better an answer you may get....

Chosen Solution Tested a plug to see if it was hot cause I couldnt find where it went to. And I accidentally crossed power, the radio quit and the power locks dont work. I went through fuses n dont see any bad one. The radio is not factory so I checked the fuse on it also. All good. Is there another safety fuse hidden somewhere? Also the lid on box doesn’t have power lock fuse locator?...

Chosen Solution I was wondering if it would be possible to interchange the the A9 chip from an iphone SE and put it into an iphone 5s. I understand there would be some performance downgrades so it wouldn’t be as fast as a normal SE, but would it be possible and still be faster than the A7 chip in the stop 5s. Not possible, the iOS firmware would block it from working, also the processor is paired with the baseband as well so it would get stuck at apple logo from that too....
