Chosen Solution replace a hard drive but appear kernel panic, after install mac os 10.4 or some times freeze during installation and appear same error.i have also installed mac os 10.5 does the same error. I have no original disks be problem of hardware? I think you said that the system was installed via “Target mode” with a firewire cable. If the start up machine had an Intel processor it would install the wrong type of system and cause a kernel panic....

Chosen Solution I replaced my iPhone 7 Plus screen my finger identification reader still works but the home button Function do not have no speaker but have Bluetooth functionality I make sure that little piece of tape was transferred during the screen repair I’m thinking I may have a mismatch screen for my model? It is quite common to partially damage the Home Button when transferring it to a replacement screen....

Chosen Solution I replaced my screen because of an annoying scratch (my fault) on the original one (followed the oem parts# supplied by Lenovo). After turning it on, nothing appeared on the panel, but the computer ran fine with an external monitor. Keyboard, trackpad, trackpoint, wifi and webcam all work I tried plugging in my original scratched screen (which worked) and that doesn’t work now. So I figure it’s the ribbon connector (I yanked too hard), and I even ordered the part from Encompass....

Chosen Solution Hello everyone, I replaced the screen digitizer on Ipad 4th gen. I turned off the ipad before starting the repair. After completing the repair I turned on the device and the right half of the screen is darker. The iPad was completely off the whole repair. So cleaned the LCD ribbon cable and put it back together. The right half is still dark. I figured maybe I got it too hot when I was removing the original screen digitizer to replace and now the LCD is damaged....

Chosen Solution My Samsung UN60D6420UF (3D model) was first clicking on and off for a few months, but always stayed on. Now what happened, is it clicked, went blank, and then never did come back on. I tried a few things like unplugged for 30 seconds and then plugged back in, turned back on, red light would blink 5 times. Then I held down power button for 30 secs while plugged in, then unplugged, for 15 minutes, then turned back on, and that’s when the loud pop happened on what seemed like the lefthand side....

Chosen Solution I have a 1st gen ipad a friend gave me it works fine but the lcd does not light up and I’m not sure if it’s the lcd itself or the logicboard how can I find out which one is it and how much will it cost to fix. Thanks Craig hayu2 unless you have the schematic, good multimeter and the ability to microsolder small components, I’d go with the LCD....

Chosen Solution I have an iPhone, 1st gen. when phone is on the charger, everything is ok. as soon as i take it off, it starts to behave strangely… screen keeps turning on and off every 15 seconds. you can imagine, battery doesnt last very long, after a whole day of this. now, i have swapped the back cover, all with the buttons and connectors for the known working one. i have restored phone to factory defaults....

Chosen Solution I have had issues connecting the camera to my computer (mac) for a while. I was trying to update the software and it requires a connection to the computer. When following the instructions to update, at the point of connection it stops and says - turn off camera, take out camera battery and reboot this software. I have done both a couple of times, and keep stalling when i get to the same point....

Chosen Solution I have a A1286 2.66GHz 15" Unibody MacBook Pro (Mid-2010). While replacing the battery, I guess I seated the connector at a bit of an angle, and I severely bent the right-most pin (#9). I tried to straighten it with a couple of screwdrivers (and did get it to stand upright again), but since the pin had folded over onto itself, there’s a weak spot in the middle that causes it to bend again if I try to plug in a battery....

Check the Loud Speaker is working but the option is grey out. any inputs on this ? Can you test if the proximity sensor is working? (Place phone near your ear and screen should turn off). Have you tried using earphones and see if the sound works through there during calls?...

Chosen Solution The SRS light turn on What would it be? SRS light is a warning light for restraint system it stands for supplemental restraint system. If this light is on it means there is a problem with either your airbag or seat belt. to determine what it is you need to get the codes read . you’ll need access to a srs obdII reader. Chosen Solution Hello, I recently replaced thermal paste on my 2008 MacBook Pro 15” A1286 and after doing so the motherboard went bad, I’m guessing I applied to much paste that it damaged the CPU and GPU, after about a month of the system sitting I bought a new motherboard and installed it, The MacBook Pro still wouldn’t boot until I went back through and found that the keyboard connector was loose and wasn’t pushed all the way in....

Chosen Solution I have a 55” TCL Roku TV (55S405TNAA) that was working fine, then the next time it was turned on has no picture. Clicks are audible when adjusting the volume or navigating the menu. Flashlight test does show the menu. Is this most likely a panel issue or an LED strip issue? If one LED strip goes out does it deactive the rest? I feel confident and comfortable that I could replace any of the panels....

Chosen Solution Have this Hilti DSH600X power saw. Been trying to replace the drive belt . It’s a serpentine belt. Been trying to heat it in hot water so i can stretch it enough to roll over the front blade pulley. Just can’t do it. Wondering if there is an easier method? Can’t find any adjustment screws or slide. Anyone know about this? Chosen Solution I upgraded my macbook pro 13" mid 2009: replaced optical drive with 250GB SSD. replaced 2x2GB RAM with 2x4GB. replaced old battery.. Things work, except the fan never slows down and makes a lot of noise. The fan start at full speed as soon as I click the power button, even before the screen lights up. Please help. Chosen Solution Hello my name is nokia Thompson, I acidentally knock it over when I was putting something up and it didn’t shatter but the bottom peice shows the blue battery pack I think? It has a red and a black wire but on the inside bottom of the speaker it’s wires are still connected. Is there a way to connect the other red and black wires? nokia, both wires will have to be rejoined to corresponding wire, normally wires would be stripped of a little insulation, shrink tubing put on/slid over wire out of way, stripped copper wire meshed or twisted together and soldered to secure connection....

Chosen Solution Hello folks, I was forced to do screen replacement since my OLED panel was broken,I successfully installed new display-displays perfect, touch, 3D Touch works perfectly fine…except for top “brows” to the left and right of top notch- control center can’t be swiped down and I can’t return to call after swiping it to the background( it is done by touching the clock). Anybody faced same issue? Market is full with screens giving touch issues on the iPhone X, I’m surprised there’s still some business going on as I suppose vendors of those screens must be overwhelmed with returns....
